  • I have a better way. FROM THAI !!

  • Very cool. Nice that you showed us a second bottle after the 1st one did not work. And I like the vase idea.

  • whats the point of doing this?

  • That's 42 seconds of my life I will never get back...

  • Really cool video, quite spontaneous, i saw you struggling to film with one hand, demonstrating with the other and explaining how-to all at the same time but it do work perfectly at the end with your final project :O)

  • Hey really cool video, thanks for the information!

  • only score it once idiot....

  • hahahah omg. that didnt work!

  • Thanks..helpfull video.

  • get a tripod!

  • hey thanks alot for the video i learned alot.. just curious where you are from.. i like your accent lol

  • That's what I was looking for, thanks for sharing

  • Love the vase, the epic vase lol. Thank you for the video.

  • sir where did you purchase the bearings?

  • @STREETRAT211 at the bee-ring store :P Please see a list in the article at nextgap.com

  • Thank you for this! This is much safer than burning string and looks like you get better results.

  • @fawapada Hi, well there are several ways to cut a bottle , you can even use a dremel (rotating disk). But, the most important thing in cutting a bottle is to make a PERFECT STRAIT CUT with no bumps, and that is the only way to do it.

Building it does take some time, but once you have it, you just slide the bottle on it and that's it, pour hot water, pour cold water and you're done. No nail polish remover, no flames.

  • Did anyone else JUMP LIKE A MUTHUFUKU AT 6:55 !?

  • This is great for blues guitarists who want to make a glass slide!

  • very creative!!

  • nice video, very patient!!! thanks

  • i think ima do this...this would be perfect for recycling

  • do the same thing as u do the vase but fill with dirt and grow something its a self watering pot

  • I like your quotes more then the video!

  • @tashtan1

Son, you got a panty on your head....

  • @AlonMln חחחח תכלס

  • Well done. I like how you included your mistake in the video so we can all see what happens.

These may become our new kitchen drinking glasses!

  • PAT ATTENTION...

  • Nice

  • really excellent! Thanx!

  • Thanks.

  • GENIO!!!

  • Nice demo on glass cutting.

    Thank you

  • Good invention. Thanks.

  • kol hakavod! :)

  • @brewjake THANX ;-)

  • ya im sure everyone will go make a "vase"

  • @zubestr You can make a vase, beer bottle, or a chandelier out of a few bottle necks, or put sth in the bottle ,close it and make everyone wonder how you did it. The possibilities are endless! you just have to use your imagination!

  • I think you did a great job!! I have been looking for a good glass bottle cutter all the ones I've seen that are "store bought" seem to not worth the money. The cheapest I've seen is $40.00 us.

  • I see a project in my husband's future.

  • @AlefMemTav

    :P

  • could u use a razor blade

  • @jadejordan1 no. razor blades don't stand a chance against glass. Go to a hardware store and spend the $5 on a glass cutter.

  • @spinout182 thanks

  • 1/2" Plywood, Metal Brackets, Bearings.

  • good stuff

  • "I bought some Beeerrrinnngg's"

    lol

  • Great demonstration! I will try this myself soon, thank you!

  • Thank you for the demonstration.

  • Excelent video¡¡¡ thx for the video.

  • I think you've done a great job on this. Thanks for taking your time to share. I will be crafting my own, based on your model. =)

  • congratulations your a retard

  • woow you´re god ajajajaja

  • Well done. been thinking of a method to cut bottles for a few weeks.

One thing .............. your setup will only be good for bottles of one diameter.

To get better cut, lubricate the cutting wheel with a drop of white spirit.

    Cheers .

  • @supersesqui Yes, it is limited in diameter, but good for large beer and almost all wine and champagne bottles which make the best results.

Lubricant would be good, some say oil is good. I didn't test it though.

  • Really good, well done!

  • Thanks for your replay, anyway, the information on the video is very interesting and I`m going to try to do it. Thanks again

  • Damn, couldn`t you find someone to hold the camera for you....

  • @maferraril

Well it was kind of spontaneous. I didn't really plan. I was bored, had all the parts I bought before so....

But yes, today I know that you should use some kind of directing, know what you want to say before you shoot (maybe practice or use notes) and someone that will hold the camera. But, anyone is free to fast forward/rewind, bottom line - the concept of how it's built, and the part with cutting the glass in the sink are the most important.

  • Drink every time he says "um"

  • Yes wery nice good job

  • Thank you for sharing :)

  • אין מים בארץ!! למה אתה מבזבז... חחח סתם :D

    סרטון נחמד

  • Use less water next time and it'll be perfect :) (perfect = top drops of gently)

  • Well done! I'm headed to the hardware store now!

  • you came up with a very simple design. I've been looking for something like this for a while. Thanks for sharing this I know I sure won't!

  • gracias!

  • Excellent, just what I was looking for, I have a dozen projects I'd like to start once I've got one of these built.

    Cheers,

  • but does it work with bottles of different sizes?

  • @contact1araya yes, bottle can be a little smaller or bigger, it will still work on most wine bottle. it wont work on small 330 ml bottles , like coke ,

  • good work son , enginuity is the mother of invention . Your bottle cutter is made from everyday items , i am going to the hardware store tommorrow to get the gear. I have about 2000 bottles

  • @pegasusSG1 LOL 2000 bottles you can open a cup shop :P

  • I did it!!, so this week I will post

  • great video, Im in the way to learn to cut bottles so I can make lamps and a few things more. Im bartender so I have a lot of nice bottles to practice. your video was very usefull. I will let you know when I sucess in that (will post video)

  • @ALefa222 hey glad you liked it, let me know how it turned out :)

  • good video.i'll try to make one myself lol

  • great stuff, thanks for posting. The other part of the bottle would make a great funnel.

  • We could have used one of those when I was a glazer. That's a great idea. Would you object if I used your idea as a basis for making one of my own?

  • @nobuckle40 thats the whole idea of the video...so you can make one of your own :P

  • Nice video, thank you!

  • Brilliant. I love seeing trash turned into useful things!

  • If you had a tripod you could use both hands. =P =)

  • @streppa well i have a tripod, but as you see the video wasnt really planned ahead.... i just started to shoot . i guess its a bit funny how i try to put the bearing on the bolt with one hand :P

  • If I may assist - the "corner" pieces are called brackets.

  • @doctaweeks

    thanks.... :)
