Both Romney and Giuliani allowed sanctuary status under their jurisdictions. They're both lying. Furthermore, Giuliani's personal comment toward Romeny was way unfair and a very devilish trick. Romney hired a painting company who then hired a subcontractor who happened to have an illegal person working for them, unknown to Romney. Guess what? We've all likely unknowingly had an illegal person work for us. None of us is going around checking documentation of subcontractors.
