I do think that this movie is flawed in some ways, mainly in that the overall story is fairly predictable. However, the journey is a hell of a fun ride and the performances were fantastic. Rourke is back, and I for one am damn glad!

Because the movie introduces a sub-plot that really doesn't go anywhere near the end. Micky Rourke's performance was the main draw.

Yeah, saw the movie monday at a private screening. The movie is fantastic but it's Rourke's performance that's the award winner here.
