  • It is "oddball time signature." :) You may look to wikipedia...

  • I dont know a fret from a chord from a whatever. All I know is I love what I hear. Everything he plays is awesome. AWESOME!!

  • @Duke4Reuti Thanks so much for the compliments. I haven't posted a Mule cover in a while, so I'll try to get on that. =)

  • Do you know what time signature this is in? Sounds like measures of 13, 19, 27 and the likes!

  • @philnoll Ha, to be honest, I don't know. It's neat, though!

  • @philnoll im pretty sure its in measure of 10/8 for the most part

  • Man greetings from brasil, you have the essence of vintage years!!!!Muita paz e distorçao analogica!!!!!

  • @Willblinddog Hey, thanks a lot!

  • usa or custom shop

  • @slashnduffVR Hey sorry I'm just responding now. It's a custom shop 1958 VOS Reissue.

  • Weird time signature no? That's cool x)!

  • Great tones and playing man!

  • Hey thanks, Matt. I just read your new channel.......jeez, what a shame about the phishing. I guess someone got your password?? Anyway, good luck with the new channel. I'm subscribed.

  • very great!! i have a lp 57 with bb and it s not that sound!!

  • woua!! its a lp 58 with bursbucker 1 2?

  • yea

  • Very good! And good guitar!

  • Love to hear that without all the distortion..

  • Hey d, on this video I'm actually just plugged directly into the computer, using the Line 6 Toneport UX2 audio interface. Still got the Mesa, but at night, I think the neighbors prefer the Line 6 stuff. =)

Anyway, I haven't forgotten about your tab request!! Good luck with the SLO clone. Can't wait to see/hear the video.

  • Howdy,

THanks for the Video. Are you still playin a Mesa? I'm building an SLO 100 clone right now. Its tedious but fun. I'll post the a vid when I get it done.

  • I've been checking out your vids for a little while now but this is the first time I've felt compelled to comment. You've outdone yourself this time. Great tune, nice post and keep them coming. Hail to the Mule!

  • Thanks a lot. (nice name, btw!)

  • this is great but what happened to that since i've been loving you video?

  • haha, I think you might have been the only one who ever saw it. there will be another.....

  • its good to see you still doing this even though i do not play guitar i still find this very interesting that there is someone out there that can do a good Mule cover

  • Hey, I'm glad you're still enjoying the vids.

  • I think I hear me Neighbors screaming at me because of this one. Should I turn it down you say? Nah!! But boy is this a long one to play in an apartment complex. I'm sure some others enjoyed it besides me.

  • I'll try that..Different guitarshops have tried to setup my epiphone properly but..I guess I'll just have to buy me a Gibson too..Btw, just bought a Marshall Vintage Modern head, i'll post some demo-clips of it, it's a great amp for 'our' kind of music!!

  • Yea, give it a try. But also keep in mind that it's a balancing act...between tone and playability - the higher the action, the less playability but better tone. The lower the action, the more playability but worse tone. So, just find the best balance for you.

And BTW, don't just run out and get a Gibson. Your Epiphone is definitely capable of being setup properly. I'd go around the internet and find out how to setup your guitar for yourself. It's cheaper and you get personalized results!

  • awesome tone man

  • Good job!

  • Another nice one! How do you setup your guitar to play slide? My strings keep buzzing=s

  • thats all about the way you 'hold' the strings with the slide, the 'power' you apply doin this, not about guitar setup...

  • I can play slide on my acoustic slide, but on electric it just sounds horrible so..I guess my action is set to low..

  • yeah.. i had the same problem, than i tune my guitar a half step down and it sounds good, and try to not hold the strings much stronger and not so soft too, because that buzz sounds much more noisier when you do this...

  • Hey thanks. About slide.....well, it does matter how hard or soft you press, but it makes it a HELL OF A LOT easier to "not sound like a dying cat" if you just raise your action a bit. And a higher action will give you better sustain in general since the strings won't be buzzing out as much.
