@m0eDr3adzz Believe me, I've been there, done that. The thing with djent and tech music is that it sacrifices the balls and the energy that metal should have to show off it's chops. There really isn't much deviation from the form in tech metal and djent anymore, it's become so saturated with copycats. Believe me, I know prog, I've seen Animals as Leaders three times and have met Devin Townsend. But no one genre is the end-all, be-all of music seeing how taste is purely subjective.

I also don't listen to music because of its technicality, but for its sound. A harmony of about 6 or 7 different folk instruments along with the usual arrangements of guitar, drums and so on is far more technical than the repetitive beats and screams of this genre. I don't mean to directly "diss" the band, but as you said, the genre itself.
also, NB doesn't suck ,but they have been grabbing a lot of less-than-ideal bands recently :)
@Krowsnest Yeah, I suggest you do your research. As important a label NB were in the 90's for Black Metal bands, they actually started as a hardcore label. This isn't a recent development so don't go blaming the label for your own ignorance.

In fact, NB didn't even start to have any success until they started supporting the black metal scene. Agnostic Front (same members as madball) was one of the first bands the label signed. Dunno about you, but if I wanted to make money, I'd go for pop, not hardcore.
@m0eDr3adzz It's ok as long as you respect those who like the genre. Music is a matter of taste, you should always have that in mind when saying these things.
I think most of the haters just don't like the mix of hard rock/metal sound with rap clothes etc. But get used to it, it's the new modern thing to do and rapecore+metalcore sounds awesome sometimes.

@fuschi666 gonna have to disagree with you again there skip.
I also don't listen to music because of its technicality, but for its sound. A harmony of about 6 or 7 different folk instruments along with the usual arrangements of guitar, drums and so on is far more technical than the repetitive beats and screams of this genre. I don't mean to directly "diss" the band, but as you said, the genre itself.
also, NB doesn't suck ,but they have been grabbing a lot of less-than-ideal bands recently :)

NB has great bands, yes, but it ruins them.

@Krowsnest Yeah, I suggest you do your research. As important a label NB were in the 90's for Black Metal bands, they actually started as a hardcore label. This isn't a recent development so don't go blaming the label for your own ignorance.

@Krowsnest Oh yeah, I hear hardcore punk all over the radio... wait, what?! As I said, Nuclear Blast has always had hardcore bands on their label, even when they were a really smalltime independent. In fact, NB didn't even start to have any success until they started supporting the black metal scene. Agnostic Front (same members as madball) was one of the first bands the label signed. Dunno about you, but if I wanted to make money, I'd go for pop, not hardcore.

I think most of the haters just don't like the mix of hard rock/metal sound with rap clothes etc. But get used to it, it's the new modern thing to do and rapecore+metalcore sounds awesome sometimes.

It's a little funny also. When a band play nu-metal music, they are always called for copycats of korn even when music doesn't sound anything like korn but in some music genres where music sounds absolutely the same, it's totaly okey :p

@hellfiremart 11 band members later and 1 original (singer) I know a lot of well known bands have had this before, but they made fenomenal albums which are still popular. Something i dont see this band having.
playing with 4 the same people in a band for 10 years or longer, thats respectfull.
This band is only alive because the singer wants to keep going.
Also, bro-core(hardcore) is now actualy so generic i dont even think deathcore is generic anymore.
