  • Instead of a bottle of pepto why not use the tablets. They weigh less and work just as well. Also alchol wipes are light weight and great fire starters. Label your pills. That way if you need to have someone get them for you they know what they are giving you. Should add some stool softeners too. extra socks. You have fishing line but do you have hooks. Dont need a rod a stick would work too. Great vid

  • A pair of good gloves would be a good addition.. but nice kit!

  • Ohh ok.

  • please check out my facebook page. im trying to get support in emergency perparedness awareness. please feel free to post anything helpful or your videos. i have already posted this video. awsome budget BOB

  • Were do u have ur things for protection like knives machaes

  • @Br0ChaChos I agree. I live in the north west, and a machette is a key tool

  • That bags weights way to much. There is no way you can move fast and far with that much weight. I would cut out half of that stuff.

  • Great video. Straight to the point, no music playing and wasted words.

    Thanks.

  • Drop the axe, grab baby wipes, take it from a marine, you dont need to smell good to retain your health and baby wipes clean your nasty body pretty good. Also, invest in a waterproofing liner for your pack incase you havent, in a shtf senario your pack than could be used as a flotation device!

  • @slippinslidewayz The only concern I have with baby wipes is that they can dry out. Beside that, I agree with you there. As for the waterproof liner, I have two 55-gallon garbage bags in the BOB as well to work as potential flotation devices. I'm working on getting a Kelty liner for the bag itself. However, they are expensive at $30+. Thanks for the input.

  • Hey, good video, good kit. However, A BOK is a blow out kit AKA gunshot trauma kit

  • how heavy is it lol

  • @CoryThe411 Weighed the pack last week. The whole pack, fully laden down, is 44 lbs.

  • @RazorEdge95 Damn anything over 25% of your own body weight actually is a detriment you will use more calories, more fluids just carrying it. I'm going to make a Sidekick shoulder carry BOB.

  • @MarcoMontana22 At 230lbs, the pack is 19% of my weight.

  • @RazorEdge95 thats ok then, but still pretty heavy. I've got a couple car survival bags, but Im going to make a side sling BOB a small easy carry. Maybe I'll video it when Im done looks like fun...

  • @MarcoMontana22 Best of luck to you. I don't want people to mimic exactly what I have. These are the choices I made for me. I want everyone to get an idea of the options that are out there, do the research, and learn more. That is my goal here.

  • how much does your pack way

  • Why would i care about smelling good if im in the wilderness? Be a man and take the stench.

  • You definitely did your research. It was easy to follow your video as you were not babbling gibberish and know your system like the back of your hand. Cheers!

  • @warriorlion Thanks for the compliments! Much appreciated.

  • hey a good idea is to put a mousetrap in your pac to capture small game

  • i dont know if this was said before....but that ductape, you can cut a credit card in half and wrap it around it saves a lot of room....:D

  • body spray....lol.

  • @Norskand67 Better than nothing!

  • @Norskand67

U CAN START A FIRE WITH BODY SPRAY ..

  • One of the more thorough bags I've seen! Great job man. What sort of things would you recommend putting on the flash drive? Contact info?...

  • @DocT2015 I have numerous important documents that I scanned into a computer, and then encrypted on the flashdrive. Contact information is good, but only helps if you can use it elsewhere. I'd recommend a simple pen and paper for that, and use the USB as a backup. Instead, put important legal files, such as insurance documentation, deeds, wills, passports, etc onto an encrypted drive in case of a natural disaster. So that cleaning up the aftermath is easier for you.

  • @RazorEdge95 Thanks will do.

  • about how much does that weigh?

  • @MarkACurtis Approximately 65-70lbs I suspect. I have not weighed it, so I cannot say for sure. I'm of a size/age where that is not a problem for me to carry, so you'll have to adjust the weight according to your body type and physical capabilities.

  • I like your gear man, but i did not see any snare wire. Should always have a bandanna too, its as important as duck tape. A cheep gas mask could also come in handy. Thats my thoughts on what else you could use, other that that awesome gear man :)

  • @zanebrunes45 Good eye on the lack of snare wire. I actually have that on my list to get and install into my system. Right now, my fishing line serves that purpose. I do have a head covering, it is a canvas hat. (Actually, it is the one worn by Woody Harellson in Zombieland. Finally, the N95 masks serve the purpose for gas masks. I have plans to get better equipment for that as well. Hoping to get some product reviews started soon.

  • @RazorEdge95 Ture, fishing line does work good that way. Good idea on the hat, i have a boonie hat. But i use my bandanna for many things like first aid, hygiene, mask and other uses. I got a mix of masks to use.

What type of product reviews you want?

  • Purity4all could not find the web site any suggestions how to find it

  • What kind of safety glasses are those?

  • @hkchris1 Actually don't have a brand on them. Got them for $4 apiece from a company that makes them. I'll see if I can track down the brand for you.

  • If you would like some free foods for your bug out bag, go to 4longevity.myefoods.com. All you pay is the shipping. This food won't lose nutritional value for 15 years! It

is slow dehydrated to maintain nutritional value, flushed with co2 to remove oxygen and extend shelf life, and sealed in mylar to protect from moisture and insects.you get 12 servings, so you can try some and put the rest in your BOB!If you like if you can buy more for as little as $.91 per serving!

  • All that shit fits in the backpack???

  • @alexisf1995 Indeed it does. I show how it all comes out of the backpack in my other video: "In Case of Emergency: Some Assembly Required."

  • @RazorEdge95 ohhh nice

  • U might want a folding knife I have been out in the bush with no folding knife it sux I recon 3 knives will do it

  • @MultiGussguss I have a folding knife in the multi-tool and the silverware tool, that can be put to alternate uses. I also have several other folding knives which I carry on my person that would accompany as well.

  • nice setup , gives me a couple ideas to change in my setup. one thought though, get a couple mech.pencils w/ 0.9mm lead and lose the pencils that you have to sharpen with the sharpener.

  • @nhprepper The reason I chose regular pencils versus mechanical was simply for ease of use, as well as being able to sharpen them with my knife if need be. I also have multiple uses for my items if need be, in this case, I can break the pencil in half and still have the pencil be usable. So durability as well. There are positives to both sides, and ultimately it is a personal preference issue. What else do you use the mechanical pencils for?

  • what do you think of the 5.11 Tactical Bailout Foto Shoulder Bag Case 511 Black

on ebay at the moment. Good enough?

  • @DC180 "Good enough" can mean many things. I will attempt to answer all of them. As far as quality is concerned, 5.11 is a high-quality manufacturer. For a BOB? Probably too small. The goal of a BOB is to be able to sustain you for 72 hours, and maybe longer should the need arise. There simply is not enough space in that bag to hold all you need. Now, that can be used either A) augment your primary BOB or B) as an EDC (Every Day Carry) bag. More on those to come.

  • I have the same bag, but in green and grey. Great video, but does all that really fit in your bag? I can barely fit all of my stuff in that bag, I can't imagine with all the stuff you have, however I may be mistaken.

  • @ninjapriest88 The sleeping bag, tent, camelbak, med kit, and dry sack are all carried externally via the attached straps & D/S rings. The waterbottle is in one side pack, the 2 20oz. water bottles and stainless steel cup in the other. I'm considering doing a video of how I got it all together, so you can see it get taken apart and understand how I've got everything in there.

  • Great Information thanks for the video
