  • please help it's driving me nuts!! img burn won't let me burn the cue file? ive edited the tracks etc in note pad but think i've missed a stage? i'm looking at the win rar file and not sure how to get to your stage at .44 seconds-1.30?

  • ps- will my neo geo cdz need a mod chip or will it just read the cd-r anyways? ditto-sega saturn. ditto-panasonic q for cube games on cd-r? cheers.

  • Hey man can you help? I can get every part except where you extract the details from the rar file. I've even opened it up in note pad to edit it and have img burn ready to go. I just can't get to see the mp3 listing and iso and cue file part so I don't know what to edit in note pad? I can't see the details to copy it? hope that makes sense? it's part 0.44-1.54. many thanks.

  • Thanks, great video!

  • yes u can burn dvd i burn dvd dual layer discs my self with it

  • ImgBurn works with cr-rs to blurays.

I burn Cube games fine with it

  • Thank you so much, man. I really appreciate you posting this video.

  • I just wanna say thanks for this vid it's been a massive help.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this for ages but never really understood the purpose of the cue file.

    Cheers

  • i say if you want to figure out what your doing. watch this video/ try to find some additional stuff on google and sort it all out. personally this video didnt work for me. dont know why. but 85% of it worked just had to find extra info. and a week of my lfe getting frustrated wasting about 30 cdrs. but now own quite a library. good stuff

  • @kittenclaws187 can you please just tell me what you did because im really lost both imgburn and discjuggler are not working and i've done everything right as described.

  • The Neo Geo doesn't read WAV format either. When you burn the game, the audio tracks are written to the CD as normal audio tracks like on any music cd, with the first track technically being all the game data. As long as your burning program accepts MP3s, it will write them correctly to your CD-R.

  • To whom are you referring to?

  • Great vid, have you successfully burned and played a game? I have burned it but it wont boot. im not even getting the option to press start to boot the game anymore. When I did it just gave me a 0002 error, any ideas?

  • I GOT IT ,IT WORKS THANK CUZ

  • CANT U SHOW THE WAY FOR THE SATURN

  • Saturn is the same as shown on this video, simply burn from the .Cue file, rename files accordingly if needed.

  • DO IT WORK FOR SATURN

  • ..Yes, it's basically the same process.

  • Hey, thanks for the info in this Video, I was downloading alot of backups to my Saturn and 3do games, and was being dumb and re-naming my mp3's, and iso files manually, you saved me a TON of time now! Thanks for making the video!

  • Glad I could help!

  • Luke had told me he tried to burn one and said it told him he couldn't burn anything over 800 megs or something. I've never burned a DVD with ImgBurn before. Maybe there was a miscommunication?

  • Yep, Imgburn can burn DVD's. I was thinking that maybe Luke had an older version of Imgburn, but it looks like the inital version had support for both dvd's and cd's.

  • You know what would be funny? Burn a game for someone and make all the mp3's rickroll.

  • I think you'd have to edit the cue file since it has track times as well, but then there's cue file programs that will make it automatically. Now I feel like making my own soundtrack... I think I'll burn a copy of Lords of Thunder and replace the start screen music with Dragonforce or something. What a stellar idea!

  • Actually, nevermind, I guess it just shows the pregap (time between tracks) and start point for the audio file, so it won't even be necessary to make a new cue file! As long as there's the right number of tracks it should work. Don't want the game to try and access a file that doesn't exist!

  • lol "never gunna give you up" lol

  • i got problem if i wanna get to cue file in img burn it says:File name doesent exist track 01.iso but i got it in the map and in the cue file

  • Is it named exactly the same? Maybe the capitol letters matter, I haven't tried it. You could send me a screenshot of your cue file text and the files if you'd like.

  • *i was like shouting litterly Wav file it woman!

  • lolwut!

  • In general I only tend to download high value retro games. Then if I really like them I buy a copy as soon as possible.

  • Yeah. I did this with Metal Slug, as I have the MVS cart as well but no way to play it. Also haven't worked up the courage to spend 100 bucks on the real disc yet, had the Metal Slug itch, and didn't wanted to play it on a real Neo Geo. :P

  • 'There's nothing like playing the real pressed disc you pulled from the real case. ' agreed, and the mp3 compressed music doesnt sound so good.

  • Thanks man i realy needed this i realy apriciate it THANKs!

  • thanks for the tutorial now i can finally play those real rare ne geo cd games
