It looks very slow. And it is, it's been proved. I think the only thing they screwed up at it is the 19" wheels. When should have fitted 18", there is enough room for the brakes with 18" as well.

@WEAJHD I agree with you, Focuses are all cruddy build quality weather its a Zetec 1.6 or an RS. They have poorly aligned dashboard surrounds, the dashboards are never in the middle of the car and they don't look right. Not only that, the bonnets move, rattle and squeak when you press weight on them and the door mirrors lift like wings. You can guess they are never built to last, I used to drive Focuses at work and I came to the conclusion that I would never buy a Ford.

The car does a great job, looks awesome in white. I love them and am considering parting with the 30,000 list price to have new one and dry store it.This crap about performance/money cant be justified. You can buy a 5 year old aston martin db7/ porsche 911 for the money which both look better and go better. I have a 300zx twin turbo which cost me around 4k so far and it will see the other side of 185mph and has performance which outshines a db7 past 170mph. But its old and nowhere near as nice.

1st you would not wait until the redline as the low down torque means shifting at around 6k if the best option-this is a turbo 5pot not a jap rev machine.

2nd the revonuckle suspension and LSD means the traction is unbelievable to the point it rarely if ever feels like FWD. If you dont believe me then read some reviews

3rd It is fast. NOt if ye are comparing to a lambo or some other 70k + car but at 25k and 300bhp thats fast. It will beat a ford GT on the track.
