There is a line between satan worshipping, satanism and metal music's satan image. Though King is satanist it doesn't mean that he tells us how great satan is. Being satanist means that you're your own master and no higher beings. The idea of the traditional satanism which King believes/believed forbidds you to do any harm to human. Satan's role in metal music is to give concept for the band and their lyrics. There are real satan worshipping metal bands, this band is not among them.

its because king diamond's high-pitched voice makes it impossible to "growl" like he usually does, so he does have to sing high...even though james is a baritone (i think) and king is a falsetto
