@greentray123 1. No r4 cards can play 3DS games currently, it is said the Crown3DS already hacked 3DS roms, but it is not on sale now. 2. I am not sure whether it is safe on other website. but you can buy from r4town.com or r43ds.net. they are 100% safe for your bank. 3. Except the r4 card, you should also buy a MicroSD card to load the game and firmware. Please watch mentioned guide video.

ok so heres my question: I got a r4n3ds card, however the website on the box is r43ds.com and the official website is said to be r43ds.org. I download the firmware from r43ds.org and its working fine right now, but which site is actually right?

If your 3DS is the latest V3.0.0-6 version, but your R4 3DS card is old version, you may need to upgrade the r4 card on a DSi, DS or 3DS (below V3.0.0-6) console. After upgrade the problem can be fixed.

You need to unzip the patch, orelse, the games can't be recognized. And what is more, you have to put the games in the root directory of the MicroSDHC card.

Some flashcards can't support 3DS V3.0.0 console. I am not sure whether the R4i 3D card work, as we didn't sell this card before. But you can go it's official website to get support.

If your card is r4i sdhc 3ds card made by r4i-sdhc.com, you can use r4i 3ds v1.49b kernel. After install the kernel, you should enter "main menu - Setting - upgrade" to upgrade the card(on a DS or DSi console). then it can work on 3DS V3.0.0-5 console.

If your card is not r4i sdhc 3ds card, you should use other software.

It means the r4 card can't find the kernel. there may be 2 reasons. 1. you download the wrong kernel or install not correct or some kernel files damage. 2. The TF card is broken. you can format the TF card and re-install the correct kernel again. If not ok, try another TF card.
