The custom framing here costs an arm and a leg, and I was considering framing some of the photographs I take so I wanted to frame them myself to save the money and get they style I want. Do you need a straight cutter like the one in this video or will a ruler and an x-acto knife do the job if I'm careful?

I've been to this store many times. The guys there are very accommodating and they get it done right. The video is great to help you cut a mat board, but I say why bother when you can just bring your work to this store. They do excellent framing as well!
