i doubt the insurance would cover these guys with no p.p.e on..hard hat, chainsaw trousers, boots and gloves are a must, like some of the other comments say..show it correctly or dont show it! very amateur
wtf??? why are your groundies using climbsaws on the ground? that is out of the ANSI code. for someone soo smart and certified you sure are breaking alot of safety rules in concordance to the ANSI A300's safety rules. i can report you for that you know?
It is hard to take your video serious when the tree workers don't even have hard hats on. Show it the way it is safe or don't show it at all. Otherwise, good information.
lol, get er done! You all listen to these fellas now ya hear? Between a bad video on how not to do something and an audience of luminaries in their fields ripping the videos up, would be a great show. Ill try to get motivated, but being that no one is watching a 50 hour instructional on how to design sustainable settings that I put on line. . I am a bit in shock. Cant seem to get back to producing. Waiting for the collapse and repairing the prime directive. Relationships with natural systems.
I can get past the use of a one handed chainsaw use, Some times thats all you get. However the guy in the tree running that saw clearly has no eye, ear, or head ppe. Like station888 said, Very unsafe and amateur. No chaps, hearing, eye, or head ppe on the groundies hmm. Very amateur
if you need to use a chainsaw with one hand then you don't know anything about work positioning, there is no such thing as one handed saws, get cought by ANSI, or the labour bored use a chainsaw with one hand and they will fine your ass off
Guys who write those regulations have ever been up in a tree. I believe their job is to find as many mistakes that potentially exist, in order to penalize policy holders, and get more money. They are not on the contractor's side. They are sales people or insurance company assets. I am a tree climber. If you always have two hands on the saw...one less you have for maneuvering your body.If the cut is bellow your positioning gravity is on your side. Just be careful with kick back.

Does your insurance company know that your climbers regularly operate chain saws with one hand? Very unsafe and amateur!

It's a top-handle saw, designed to be used with one hand for tree surgery.
