love this, been looking to expand and yes gpedit.msc does not work. Thank u Gavaguy. Made it simple and easy to understand, hope you have more tips and tricks for windows.
it allows windows to use more bandwidth, if your internet cannot handle more than you will not see a difference. Slow internets will also yield an unnoticable difference, but over the long term it does work!
How about live stuff? You ever go to any concerts? I've seen lots of good bands.
Van Halen, Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd. And Joe Satriani is coming to town here pretty soon. I'd sell one of my nuts to get a good seat to that show.
I am a HUGE Satriani fan. Hell, my desktop wallpaper has a big picture of him right now. LOL
I love music and i would love to see some bands in concert but just a mixture of being in a rural area, not having lots of time, and not having much extra money restricts me from attending many concerts. I do go to some local bands (you def havnt heard of) at local coffee shops tho =)
Yeah I'm in Houston. We have big concerts here all the time.
So you go to coffee shops, eh? With a name like "JavaGuy" that really doesn't surprise me at all. LOL. I think there are a few internet cafes here in Houston. I should probably stop by one someday. I've never been to one before.
Yeah man, classic rock is all I listen to. I can't stand the new age alternative bullshit being made these days. The bands need people that can actually play guitar worth a shit. Like these guys for example Eddie Van Halen Joe Satriani Yngwie Malmsteen Steve Vai Eric Johnson Jimmy Page Jimi Hendrix Stevie Ray Vaughan Andy Timmons The list goes on and on. I could name people all day. LOL.
yes, this is a tweak that can be done through gpedit.msc. However XP Home does not include the gpedit tool (at least I don't think so, it might if you setup domains, but by default home doesnt). All gpedit does is edit registry, so this will do the same thing but gpedit will give you a graphical interface if your using XP Pro =)
For windows 64-bit would you choose Qword- Value?

XP home doesn't come with it, MCE comes with it too, not just Pro.
