Instead i'm forced to research this because im in utter disbelief though the info is right there

I remember one summer ALL I drank was Crystal Light. It had 0 sugar, and full of aspartame. I didn't know the dangers back then, but I remember by the end of summer I was not able to think straight. Obviously it is not a super strong poison that kills instantly, but rather a mild and slow acting poison that gradually builds up over time, but nonetheless, it IS in fact a poison. I used to get headaches after eating Chinese food until I found out about MSG was the cause of it. Many restaurants will leave out the MSG if you request it. I always request it now and lo and behold, no headaches. What gets me is, they use primarily as a flavor enhancer. Honestly, without it, I couldn't tell a difference in taste. So I've always wondered why they bother using it.

Aspartame contains methanol (wood alcohol) which is a poison.
The other two ingredients are aspartic acid and phenylalanine which are both amino acids. Both of these may cause brain and nerve damage.

I remember one summer ALL I drank was Crystal Light. It had 0 sugar, and full of aspartame. I didn't know the dangers back then, but I remember by the end of summer I was not able to think straight. It's almost like I was foggy and my vision was cloudy too. I'm sure it was the aspartame, because once I stopped drinking it I went back to normal. Everything seemed clear and vivid...now it hurts to watch others drink their diet coke. They have no idea

A poison has a specific breakdown process in the body in order to be classified as a poison, and aspartame most certainly does match that process, and therefore is 100% in fact a poison. Specifically, it is a neuro excitotoxin poison, but worse than that, eventually turns into formaldehyde! Double Whammy!

@marcostar57, you are factually wrong. Aspartame is by definition a poison becasue of the way it interacts with the body, specifically the liver. Obviously it is not a super strong poison that kills instantly, but rather a mild and slow acting poison that gradually builds up over time, but nonetheless, it IS in fact a poison. I used to get headaches after eating Chinese food until I found out about MSG was the cause of it. Many restaurants will leave out the MSG if you request it. I always request it now and lo and behold, no headaches. What gets me is, they use primarily as a flavor enhancer. Honestly, without it, I couldn't tell a difference in taste. So I've always wondered why they bother using it.

Yeah. Sugar Coke is about as expensive as the other Coke. *sniff sniff* When I got off the Greyhound bus in Esco on a hot July night in 2005 and looked around while walking to my hotel room, I was pretty happy. It actually looked like every movie I had ever watched in my youth that was filmed in SoCal.
I've lived in Downtown Sandy Eggo, RB and Carmel Mountain Ranch but so far, Escondildo is by far the best. Personally, I think PB & OB are overrated. Rancho Scratchmypenis is prety cool too.

I know what you mean. Almost a year ago I went back to one of two childhood homes in the Chicago suburbs. I hadn't seen it in almost 11 years. It was very bittersweet for me. I was standing in the park across the lake from my parent's old house taking pictures with my sister. I started to choke up remembering running from the cops on Friday nights and the night my ex told me she was pregnant.

You mean the Sugar Coke? I just call it that. It's still Coke but as far as I know it's made with pure cane sugar in Mexico instead of the HFCS that we've become used to. To be honest, I've never heard of gmo sugar. I'll have to Google that and get back to you. Maybe Mexican Coke IS made with whatever gmo sugar is. I can't say one way or the other without knowing what gmo sugar is.

OK. I just Googled gmo sugar. It's Genetically Modified sugar for those that don't know. It'd made from genetically modified beets. I honestly don't know if the Mexicans use gmo sugar for thier Coke or not. My guess is the answer is no but I'll do some research later and get back to you.

haha this guy on the phone does not even know what aspartame is. I had a gentleman I did computer work for a gentleman who was about 50 years old and he drank diet Pepsi like water. I would see him consume maybe 4-5 cans over a two hour period of time. He ended up having a major stroke. He had a few other health issues but a stroke at age 50 is pretty odd.
