This a joke or what? SS is virtually invulnerable to everything. He has the power to create black holes, destroy entire planets with relative ease, he can live inside the core of a star. He can time travel, he can fold space time creating wormholes to anywhere in existence, he can also warp space time in order to travel to other dimensions. In conclusion, there is no contest here. There are maybe 3 characters inside the comic universe, Galactus, maybe Thanos, and definitely The Beyonder.

He only "lost" as you could say was becuase hulks hit broke his obediance disk which means he couldnt use all of his COSMIC power. Even with a low level of COSMIC power her broke everyone elses obediance disks and thats how hulk got free

All right, from waht we saw from Dark Avengers issues and Siege, the Sentry was more powerful than Galactus himself (references on this could be founded in the Dark X-Men series and in the 2001 Sentry's mini). Sentry, unable to use most of his powers, nearly draw a fight with an Hulk more powerful of the one that take Surfer down.
The Surfer hasn't got his full powers, but neither do Banner. The Sentry has defeated Terrax in 13 seconds, can resurrect and can exceed the speed of light, not mentioning his ability to manipulate the molecules, a power greater than Owen Reece one. So, it's impossible for the Surfer to take him down: even if he managed to do that, the Sentry is able to resurrect and keep fighting.

This would be a great fight. Power of 1 million exploding suns against the power cosmic who used the crunch against 2 primordial gods. In terms of fighting experience SS has the advantage and in terms of brute strength sentry has the advantage. The fight wouldn't be clear cut but SS would win if the fight was too prolonged due to his intellect and fighting experience. Sentry would have to hit extremely hard and quick if he wants to take SS down quick. .

@Fernando072295 sentry took on galactus and tied. Remember now galactus is the one who got a small percentage of galactus powers. Now if sentry tied with the surfers creator, what makes you think he would win?

@ertren6 Sentry also lost to hulk giving it all he had. If he tied with galactus its because galactus let him live. lol. Galactus trying to win wuld utterly own him. Surfer can easily best hulk. Also like i said can suck that sun energy out of sentry. Then atomize him.

SIlver Surfer has power absorption, able to take on powers and abilities of others....

And can he not turn intangible.
Can he not transmute mater into whatever, like into a living piece of cotton candy. He has complete mastery of the power cosmic at varying degrees
How do you fight back when Surfer is not holding back, therefore, how do you even begin, strength alone doesn't always win

Sorry for my english, I'm Italian. All right, from waht we saw from Dark Avengers issues and Siege, the Sentry was more powerful than Galactus himself (references on this could be founded in the Dark X-Men series and in the 2001 Sentry's mini). Sentry, unable to use most of his powers, nearly draw a fight with an Hulk more powerful of the one that take Surfer down.

The Surfer hasn't got his full powers, but neither do Banner. The Sentry has defeated Terrax in 13 seconds, can resurrect and can exceed the speed of light, not mentioning his ability to manipulate the molecules, a power greater than Owen Reece one. So, it's impossible for the Surfer to take him down: even if he managed to do that, the Sentry is able to resurrect and keep fighting.

@Finwe87 True, and Molecule Man is like Dr Manhattan in terms of molecule control and we saw how the sentry vs molecule man fight ended......if that could even be considered a fight.

@Finwe87 Sentry is not more powerful then galactus at all he's more powerful then a starving galactus and thats it he got taken out by odinforce thor (not much more powerful then odin) galactus half at his fullpower allready >>sentry.

@amartinez97 Well, there aren't any hint that Sentry has faced a starving Galactus, and we now that he went to the Earth sometimes at his full level of power (like when he turn J. Storm in his herald)... By the way, is possible that the Sentry has faced Galactus a couple of time, if we remember the dialog with X-man... At the end of Siege, Void was killed, i assume, just because he wanted to be killed.

He survived when he throw himself into the sun, when Morgana makes him explode and when Molecule disintegrate him (three times), so i think that Reynolds a) Is not really dead or b) He want to die. We now, by Cloc words, than he also will return...

Now that I read the dark avengers comics I still think this would be a great fight but silver surfer may have some trouble. However, it could still go either way unless the fight is in the negative zone then surfer is screwed since at the moment the void is in control of sentry

sentry would just pound silver surfer in the face repeatedly very very fast untill silver surfers bones in his face break and then silver surfer would just get his face broken which will cause way to much blood to be drawn and then silver surer dies

don't really follow Sentry much, but if i had to i would pick SS to win, SS win's base on his feats alone. SS has face much tougher opponents then the Sentry, all things aside this would be one hell of a comic to read. cool vid btw

This would be a great fight. Power of 1 million exploding suns against the power cosmic who used the crunch against 2 primordial gods. In terms of fighting experience SS has the advantage and in terms of brute strength sentry has the advantage. The fight wouldn't be clear cut but SS would win if the fight was too prolonged due to his intellect and fighting experience. Sentry would have to hit extremely hard and quick if he wants to take SS down quick. .

Its actually a million suns and if you go to the marvel wiki The Sentry's powers are to have no known limits. I mean I believe he even exploded and came back from the dead. Thye final evidence that he would be a good match for the surfer is that the Sentry went toe to toe with Galactus. So its not so obvious and clear cut.

yeah but SS killed 2 and yes i said 2 Ceturions if u dont know who they are they are born form the same power and timeline as Galactus and not even Glalacrus could have destroyed them without killing himself in the process and SS did but by all mean senty totally demolished terrax lol and hes a herald but i think that this would be an epic figh but bcuz of SS vast aray of powers i give it to him

@chidoriknight even if sentry if physically stronger SS just has to many assisting powers in his arsenal for sentry to deal with the way i c it the only how sentry would win is if he hits first hard and quick other wise hes done in a prolonged fight.

Silver Surfer, hardly even a contest friend.
Surfer's powers give him control over time as well as dimensional travel, plus his strength is unlimited.his intelligence is unparalled. Whereas the Sentry's simply a paragon with the ability to generate a blast equal to the magnitude of 1,000 exploding suns. His intelligence isn't very high and his Schizophrenic Agoraphobia hinders him in combat.
