aw i wish i went in. my dad tried dragging me in and i was so stoked but on the entrances on the way in (not this one, the real sorta entrence) i screamed when some steam came up and ran all the way out. i was sure i didnt wanna go back in so my dad decided to go alone, he came out filled with joy when i had to go see shrek 4D with mum :L

at least my mum saw two boys my age run out screaming from the entrence just before me :)

I went in that ride and i got SO scared I broke one of the actors arm by accident cuz i was so scared i was screaming and hitting his arm his arm broke and I alsobroke one of the chucky dolls. Lucky no one sued me.

It was the same with me when I first went to the Mummy walkthrough. I thought it was just a display, but then everyone was going into this small dark hole. I barely survived that thing. So I'd probably faint if I went into THIS one.

It's Leatherface, not Leatherhead, but that guy at the end of the maze in the next video is probably just supposed to be a Leatherface-esque figure, not Leatherface himself, since the mask is a bit different. The real Leatherface later got his own maze, which I'll be posting video of before too much longer.

This was AWESOME. I went in late 2007, over Halloween, and HAD to go on this.

Of course, I have horrid asthma and had to sit down for half an hour afterwards. The fog/gas/whatever in there is deadly.

Funnily enough, Chucky was the only one who scared me. Damn midgets :P I saw everyone else coming, and one of the cast members was annoyed that he didn't scare me and followed me, grunting, until the end of that part of the walkthrough.

Funny stuff. Shame I didn't get to do it this year 'round. :(

Okay, sorry, took a little longer than expected to start getting my new (old) videos up. These are the first ones I've posted since YouTube added their "watch in high quality" option, and it turned out there were a bunch of technical challenges I had to overcome to get my videos to look their best under the new rules.

Unfortunately, to save rendering, uploading, and processing time, my old videos were all rendered to YouTube's maximum 320x240 resolution of the time, so it's not possible to view them in "high quality" mode. (At some point I'll probably upload full-resolution renders, if YouTube never gets around to implementing a video media replace feature.)

There was an unexpected benefit of posting at half vertical and horizontal resolution, however -- it saved me from having to worry about NTSC interlacing. On my new videos, I needed to deal with interlacing to get the benefit of the increased resolution, however, so I needed to learn about the different deinterlacing options. Sony Vegas' built-in deinterlacing is pretty crappy, and YouTube's deinterlacing is ridiculously bad (straight vertical lines in pans turn into acid-trip-grade wavy lines).

The road to my final deinterlacing solution was a long one, but if anyone's interested in the technical details, let me know.
