I'm for pushing against The Corporate Establishment when they attempt to squash genuine creativity or exploit artists, but I have no problem watching a short advertisement in exchange for the music: I'm paying for it in my time, rather than money. It's fairer that way - as long as the artists I appreciate are getting properly compensated and encouraged to create more music.
