I have had adobe after effects sitting on my computer for the past 6 months because one time i tried to learn it and I raged and now i tried again its is real easy to learn and this was the type of tutorial i needed, thanks it helped tons.

Every time I upload a video from Windows Movie Maker to Adobe After Effects, it won't play at regular time. I would press the zero button like you're supposed to and the video will play very fast(fast mo). It won't play in normal time, and I don't know what to do. HELP!!!

@xxxGRENADESxxx look above the play button and it will tell you what frame rate it is playing at. Nothing is wrong with either program, After effects just has to render each frame before it can be displayed. messege me if you need a further explination.

this might work: right under neath your playback options, there are buttons that say

Framerate, Skip and resolution. set skip to zero if it isnt all ready. if that doesnt work, im still looking into it.

Are you playing Ram preview? cause if you are try this:

right under your playback options you should see your RAM preview options. make sure the framerate is set to the same framerate as your footage. if this doesnt work, you should probably contact adobe.

how do you select a certain speed for the slo motion though? or does it only come in one speed?

When you drag the keyframes out, the more you drag it from the other the more slow motion.
