@kz4eva You are very wrong Germans had the King Tiger that could damage and or destroy the KV as well as the Germans were developing the Maus tank (Known to be the strongest tank in WW2 Only 2 prototypes were built). Also the Germans did not have to use any guns to destroy the KV, all they had to do was destroy the tracks and the thing was doomed then they would use a flame thrower and cook the russians out of it.

@BrotherKomissar The germans had only the PAK 37mm. the germans called it the "knacker", because it could not penetrate the KV1 or the T34..it could only knock on them!

German general Guderian (and others) wanted to copy the T34...the Flak 88 was not a tank! They had to use the FLAK88..because no german tank had no chance against the KV1 or the T34!

@nurmiar Tank law of WWII - Tanks never fight against tanks. There is no good or bad tanks - it is a question of expluatation. Tiger was tougher than T-34, but in 1944-45 Tigers were in the team of loosers. But in 1941-1942 T-34 were on the edge of epic failure.

@nurmiar I`ve read books from both sides. Germans began to prize T-34 after first loses. But in many circumstances german losses were not the result of "exellent russian tanks".

Russian medium & heavy tanks wasn`t the wunderwaffe - they had their weak points in technic (optic, transmission, engine, crew comfort) and organisation. but they did their best for the Victory.

the KV is a kewl Tank but that puny little F32 makes it look like sooo much less of a tank......In Men of War ive modded it to have an Achillies 76L and it looks sooooo much deadlier.

nice model, but the subtitels at 1:30 are incorrect. It's true that the early Panzer IV variant F1 (armed witht the short mortar gun) was ineffective against the KVs armor, however the new upgraded Panzer IV F2 with the long and more powerful 75m KwK could penetrate any armored angle of the KV-1 at 1,200 meters distance.

The Panzer IV F2 aalong with all other new variants from late 1942 were superior and matched the KV-1 out.
