I never thought to drink sparkling water to get rid of acid reflux while I was pregnant. My daughter is 15 months now but when I was pregnant with her, I had bad acid reflux in my throat while I was pregnant. My doctor prescribed an acid reducer and I had to take it every morning or I would get heartburn. It worked well but I would have rather not taken any medication. So I will definitely try sparkling water the next time I am pregnant, if I get heartburn! Thanks for the suggestion!
I listened to the pregtastic episode that talked about the 5 S's when they first aired it and it was amazing!!!! I always thought that you should keep babies away from noise, but that episode really helped me to understand the whole environment transition from the womb to outside!
Anyway, you look great as always!!! I hope you get to go down to see your in-laws without any problems!
Also, can the support belt be used for postpartum support?
I know, isn't that the craziest thing? We always think our babies want it to be really quiet because that's how we like to sleep but it makes so much sense to use white noise when you think about how noisy it is inside the womb. Why didn't anyone think of this sooner?! :)
Oh, and yes the support belt is made to work for prenatal as well as postpartum support. After you have the baby you turn it around so the wide part is in front, holding all your extra jiggly stuff in. :) It's by Boppy.
Yes, it's made by Be Be Au Lait and I had to look forever on craigslist to find one close enough for it to be worth the drive. They have lots of gorgeous designs so it ends up looking nice when you're out in public.
Very cool, hope they can help you out. I'm kind of a nerd in that I get really excited when I find great stuff and immediately want to share it with everyone. Glad to know my craziness can be helpful to people. :)
Hey Tiffany, You look glowing today and very happy. Thanks for all that great info, I had seen a little about the SSSS technique and my daughter was hoping to find more info/visual demo of it so the video will be great.
Hope you have a relaxed, fun and spoiled time with your inlaws :)
Thank you, how sweet! I hope your daughter found the video ok, I did find that it was much cheaper to buy through Amazon than directly through Dr. Karp's website. I'll let you guys know how my weekend is going, hopefully I can record a video while I'm down there.
Ok too weird because I just discovered Dr. Karp's DVD also in my Hypnobirthing and I'm ALL for it. It looks amazing his techniques and I can't wait to try them.
Oh very cool, I didn't think it was something they showed in all the classes as we watched it in an extra class she tacked on to the end that was really just a movie night. I hope you have a great group in your class, I did and it was so great to connect with other moms to be in such a supportive environment.
Congrats on 36 weeks! I'll be 35 weeks Monday...Love your videos. I've have actually tried out a lot of the stuff you have recommended! Thanks so much :)
Thank you, and that's so cool to hear! I love thinking that my experiences can be helpful for other people, especially since I learned so much of it the hard way or just by accident. Or of course through all you wonderful youtube mommas! :)
Yes, it was one of the best I've heard. I really can't say enough about the Pregtastic group, it's definitely been the most helpful resource throughout my pregnancy. I love the Dad episodes too, those are so interesting!
I realize this is a good year after the fact or so, but peppermint worked well for me for acid reflux :)

Did, you ever have strangers wanna touch your belly?
disney798 2 years ago
No, I didn't. I always heard horror stories but no one tried it. I think I must've put off the 'don't touch me' vibe. :)

@lifebodyfit As beautiful as you were during your pregnancy I don't see how a vibe like that could kick off. But that's just my opinion
