How can I describe the effect Ms. Love's music has on me? Words dont comprehend what her voice and her lyrics do to me. I find myself in a lot of her words in some shape or form, and there are few bands/singers in which I can do so. Nirvana is one of the few others. She is the best, the fucking shit and the Goddess of rock n roll forever. Love her or hate her, regardless. And I think she doesnt give a shit either way.
When I think of the line "Someday you will ache like i ache" the first thing I think of is when I was bullied for like years and years and how it fucked me up and My life was totally ruined and it put me in a deep depression that I still do have today, but it's true I just listen to this and I think someday they will ache like I ache. they will get what they deserve. I love this song.
"Pretty on the Inside" was a great album. "Celebrity Skin" was fine. But those albums don`t hold that same power and emotion as "Live Through This" does. Some of the songs on this album, especially this one, have gotten me close to tears. The album has that amazing balance between titanium hardness and cotton softness that words can`t describe, and the emotion is just so out on the table. To me, there will never be an album like this one by any band, even Hole.
@RevoSociety wha?????? im pretty sure this album went platinum you think thats not well known? when she was big i seen hole , courtney videos everday , always on the radio. Trust me your probably a kid and werent around when nirvana and hole were huge.
@RevoSociety she used to be on the radio at one time, that was during the 90s and it was GREAT. kids today are seriously deprived and i fear for the future
