People were slaughtered on both sides, train arrives in Delhi full of corpses from Pakistan and a train in Lahore arrived from India with the same, the Lahore railway station was littered with bodies of Hindus and sikhs fleeing who were murdered at the point of departure and platforms soaked with blood, l assume similar scenes were there in Delhi

My Family Shifted from Lahore to Delhi, and like most of those who suffered tremendously due to This Greatly blundersome partition of a Great United Nation, It took out one complete generation of their families to get back to Normal.

What difference in today's India does it make ..even if we (Hindu's and Muslims) Live and grow together n Happily

The sikhs and other non-muslim groups were as well slaughtered before reaching India from pakistan but the Gurkhas marched into punjab pakistan and safely escorted many sikhs and hindus safely to India.

Looking at these videos brings tears to my eyes,did not matter whether it was a hindu or muslim running away out of fear,to an unknown future and destination......they all suffered and with them the coming generations of indians and pakistanis.No doubt we are still quarelling because we are still hurting.
