  • I lost my luggage on Nov 3rd at Terminal 3, AI Flight. The flight got delayed by an hour and the luggage came on belts after 2 hours. No airline Authority was available then and hence I lodged a complain online. I have not even received a single response and no one picks up the phone either.

  • Thanks Aneesh for uploading the video. I was a passenger on this flight from Hk and know exactly how frustrating it was. It is the ministry led by Praful Patel who are responsible for this fiasco and it is being done deliberately. I only wish there was someone who could take up the matter through the courts or RTI. I am willing to lend all possible help and assistance.

  • there is notng 2 do wd ministry ths is AI official decision minister is not a small thing making decsion on shiftn bays AI always sucks from starting

  • AI is the worst flight from India. I travelled on it last month after 10 years i was so disappointed with everything. I wont recommend it to anyone.

  • I am surprised people yet fly on Air India! If you need to get to HKG use Cathay Pacific or Jet Airways or Singapore Airlines via SIN or Malaysian Airlines via KUL.... why Air India?!

  • Why are you going through AI while this is known? Stupid passengers to blame. They want to go cheap and needs best service. While reason AI is surviving is because you people want to fly little cheaper. Move on and let AI go bankrupt.

    The real reason is that all AI flights have been shifted to new T3 terminal without AI having adequate no. of ground staff. The people who take decisions in AI(i really don't know who but I guess lowest form of life on earth Mr Praful Praful n his bunch of bastards) knew it all and they did it intentionally. AI employees have nothing to do with it and pity on them they can't even take names bcoz they have a family and can't afford pink slip.

  • Well.....why dont you blame the main culprit of this aviation industry i.e. FUCKIN PRAFUL PATEL...who has basically ruined everything...people should beat da shit outta him and should be manhandled and then maybe someone could come save his ass....why blame the GM or any other person when da company is runnin in loss and they themselves have no control on all this..again PRAFUL PATEL should be kicked out if you want proper facilities.

  • If this is the same Aneesh i know (we exchanged phone numbers at HK) these guys did this to us again. Me and Yogi landed yesterday and with the same baggage fiasco. No baggage came in and we went thru the same mental trauma and got the baggages this morning ! Bloody asswipes paid us 150 bucks each as travelling expenses which v refused to take but they forced us to take it. The flght delay was the same with us as well. The 11:30 flight took off at 4:00am and no 1 knows of the delay.

  • my parents had a flight via delhi to london and their 3 baggages were misplaced (read lost). it's already been 12+ days and yet no updates from AI about the baggages... never flying thru india again !!! F U K air india !!!

    If you get your luggage abroad after 3 days, no compensation, and flight delays upto 15 hours without NO ONE TO ANSWER, lets see how calm you would be.

    The point is.. He is just an employee like probably u are somewhere..

    Your anger is valid but misdirected.

    What u have done is acted in a way that negates whatever lapse was on the part of AI..

    If u were really interested in getting justice for this you and others could have gone the legal route.. but ur aim was vengence not justice.. Its not like this was a street accident where the person was being rowdy.. this was just an employee trying to save his job.

    Also.. Delhi Sucks!!

  • Its amazing how AI gets away with such serious Violations so easily, I mean these Staff Members go on strike at a drop of a hat for higher wages which should be in par with other "international airlines" dont they ever realize that if a remotely similar event would happen with such airlines ... not just the Ground Staff, the Crew, the Maintainance Staff all would be dishonorably fired .... here they would happy get back to work the next day without worry

    Who pays for their salary .. we do x-(

  • Apparently i have heard from people in aviation business saying all this and more are part of the ministry of aviation's policy to deface the national national carrier so that the pvt. ones have more passengers. ( obviously they pocket a lot of money from the pvt. ones ) One instance is a very successful AI route Mumbai - Frankfurt was called off as Jet, Kingfisher & Lufthansa wanted to capitalize on the route. Aviation industry is one of the most corrupt globally.

  • to all the people sympathizing wth the AI guys..........do u have any idea had this happened in US how many Law suits wud have been filed against the airliner......any idea how much compensation would the airliner pay......had the Indians done this first of all the court would never resolve the issue.....and if it does...AI which is already deep under debts would not be able to payback......the passengers have the right to me annoyed as they have paid for a service and not harrasment

    the poor service staff ... we indians are in dire need of learning manners. n sadly this is acutely apparent on international flights with my compatriots misbehaving with staff and not having basic civic sense.

    Aneesh- you are right - what hurts the most is that noone is answerable. They just don't seem to care!

  • I remember something like this happened one late evening with us at Aligarh bus adda for the bus to Delhi - all staff members of UPSRTC absconding - finally passengers took over PA system and requested the driver and conductor to report!!! But, the UP staff responded with more alacrity!!!

    At the same time, this has so much resemblance to the situation in Italy when Alitalia went broke.

    I hope that the senior management of Air India or at least Mr Patel see this and feel the agony of these hundreds of passengers.

  • @jaithemon1 hey, barely 24 hours later i experienced the same thing with the same flights, and the spectacled gentleman, obviously didnot learn anything from the previous day experience...i was coming to Bombay from New Delhi, and therewas no information and update on the flight AI317. Air India must thank its stars that there was not as much irate passengers on the 2nd day of the fiasco...
