IT WAS NOT OVER SLAVERY!

The civil war was faught because the north and the U.S gov. imposed extremely high tarrifs and tried to tell the state governments what to do. Being angered by this unfair treatment the southern states seceded (which the constitution permits any state to do at any time if done formally). So the tyrannical (and extremely racist) Lincoln administration was frustrated that they could no longer push the south around and therefore decided to invade resulting in the civil war. IT WAS NOT OVER SLAVERY!

I cannot stand when people say this flag is racist. They want to say its racist because of slavery or hate groups. Well those slave ships that brought the slaves over flew the American flag the hate groups today fly the American flag, and the NORTH still had slaves too under the American flag.
