Tilda Swinton looked fucking amazing! Everyone who says she looks scary does not know true fashion, or the beauty of designers such as Lanvin. The rawness of her look is simply beautiful and refreshing. Here's one actress who doesn't conform to the plastic, mainstream hollywood norms, and doesn't play it safe by wearing those hideously boring gowns.

I think the fact that she managed to make such an impression in such a short time is a true testament to her acting skills. I really think she deserved it. It's harder to shine as an actor in a small supporting role but Ruby Dee managed to. And her main scene with the smack heard around the world was true testament. Able to outshine everyone with a few motions and a delivery of lines

That year the Academy gave the Oscar to a career more than an acting, and Tilda have an amazing and inspiring career, movies from all types, from Orlando to The Deep End, and in Michael Clayton gave a performance to the Oscar's eyes (more light that others), and she is one of these actress that in one moment or another would end with an Oscar, and that was her year, well deserved it
