Wow, top notch animation! You are such a master of emotion. The puppets were so...alive! While I do not agree with the monistic pantheism philosophy, I can definitely appreciate the clarity in which you conveyed it through the imagery and graceful storytelling! Truly excellent work Ron.
@kayway9 Thank You! Check out my blog for details on how I made the puppets, there's a basic overview on the right side of the page in the 'cable controlled heads' link. (and illustrated tutorial) :)
Brilliant, your work is almost unmatched and is a real inspiration. Not only your personal work, but the help you've given to the stop motion community as well. You've helped a lot of people including me, and your work and help doesn't go unnoticed, just look at the comments below, and the ones that'll soon be above. Just outstanding.
HOLY FUCK THIS IS GOOD!! Now your animation is a little bit floaty. But damn, I have never seen stop motion puppets with that much soul poured into them.
Astounding. I love how the conversation and beautiful backdrop evokes so many feelings. Some of the concepts you introduce are explored in my book-- all creation is a variation that shares a relationship with something else-- the Atlanteans knew that the pattern of the universe did not arise out of complexity but instead out of two opposing forces. Contrast is the composer of existence. The universe branches out like an endless tree as one's mind expands out into infinite alternate realities.
Really wonderful work. Every movements are realistic. I specially love the facial expressions and secondary movements (example: clothes and leaves in the wind)
The story, the music and the puppet are really nice too.
So cool that you uploaded this i have been following the making of for some time. This is great great stuff. the level of detail in the facial movements are amazing. Great job!
Superbly depicting my long held beliefs of the unified feild and the unity of conciousness.
