It's a goal, but a very close one. The entire ball has to cross the line for it to be a goal and it is very close. You can't blame the ref for this. It's even hard to tell in some of the replays. And when it's this close, the ref should not make the calls because what's worse than a non-call is a wrong call that determines the outcome of the game.

I will say it now, South Korea should have been in the Finals this last World Cup. Fucking Uruguay....and their gayness. And I definitely think SK could have beaten the Netherlands. Most of the ball's over the line. Clear goal. It does highlight the problem of whether or not video refereeing should be employed in such tournaments, or more line judges should be placed to ascertain whether or not a ball has gone into touch or passed into the goal. This and helping out with offside decisions. I remember watching this match live too, it was actually a very even game, with the DPRK having some great chances. Well, they qualified anyway. south korea plays good football but they did get a lot of favors from the ref in the 2002 world cup. in the second round, italy had a golden goal ruled out against them then totti was sent off for diving but replays showed he had lost his footing. spain also 2 valid goals ruled out and the game was decided with korea winning on penalties..
