Where is Snake Road? I live in Missouri so if it's in Illinois I could go check it out.. I love milks their my fav. Missouri snake.. Ive caught 3 my entire life and 2 were in Hillsboro..
i once pulled a three foot long one out of some rocks in Broadalbin, New York, near the Adirondack Mountains. Did NOT have a good attitude and gave me a few good bites.
Gorgeous snake.looks like an awesome place. only ever seen 1 DOR eastern milk in the higher elevation southern appalachians, gonna spend some time around there lookin.
My baby is a milk snake... I'm playing with him as I type this... he's attacking the keyboard... He gets into everything. He's very sweet and docile, since the day I got him. I love him.
Dylan should not be your idol. Handling snakes at Snake Road, where there's a huge sign stating handling/disturbing any animals is illegal, is not responsible herping behavior. If you're really into this hobby you'll hopefully become a better, more responsible herper than Dylan.
well probably one or more herp trips for me left looking for snakes, one day when the sun is shining hopefully they will come out, now its cold and rainy
Very beautiful snake and very lucky find. I knew that there were Milksnakes in Southern Illinois but I've never seen one before (don't do much herping and milks are secretive like you said.
wow he looks exactly the same as my carolina corn snake, is a milk snake like this in any way related to the captive bred common corn snake? i think i read somewhere there just called corn snakes when there actually called king snakes? is that right? I love your videos, thanks!
Great find! I saw the pics, saw the vid right when it came out and got the inside scoop all b/c of herpingwithdylandotcom. membership has its rewards. and i smell good.
i had a 4 ft long milksnake that i caught and he struck anything and everything that moved... he had a bad temper

Way to go, your not supposed to handle snakes on Snake Road. Haven't you shot videos with the actual sign to that road IN your footage??
Later, Matt

They're all colubridae, we just slap a name on them, so it's very likely they evolved from a long chain of snakes in common with eachother.
