anyone saying this belt isn't real, doesn't know their stuff. this is in fact the real deal. wwe have the other half of this belt displayed at their wrestlemania weekend events alone. but even looking at the belt you can tell its not a replica, j-mars stamp is on the strap and property plate, and the etching on the plates are not the standard crap you get on the replicas. believe me i own 15 replicas so i can tell the difference.

i know dan and he does know a lot of guys in the biz

Anybody who doubts this belt is real take it from me...I'm friends with Dan on facebook and he was employed by the WWE, and he has many pictures including one with Vince McMahon. Road Dogg seems like a cool guy so I wouldn't put it passed him to give away a belt that was never requested back from him.

I wish I had an extra 6 grand laying around, lol.

that belt is worth every penny because that is a genuine wwf belt made by jmar himself and it was ring used. now you could buy that belt for cheaper through figures inc. for 3,500 but it would have the wwe logo on it. you cant get that belt with the wwf logo because wwe copyright their belt designs and at that time wwe didnt allow their belt to be replicated and jmar was under contract not to make any of them from 1997-2004

yeah i saw the other one too, it showed its timed pretty bad, it was at the fan axxes in chicago last year, it had some rust, and the wwf logo was scratched off and and it had the ww sticker on it

thats not an ultra deluxe with hand tooled leather because that belt was never replicated as an ultra deluxe. no wwf/wwe belt was an ultra deluxe until 2004 and by that time the wwf belts werent being made anymore. and even though they make that belt now with the wwe logo, they dont make it as an ultra deluxe belt, they never did. if it was an ultra deluxe it wouldnt be deep etched because they didnt start doing that with replicas until 2005-2006
