@dollpounds Yep. It's not as violent or action oriented as Tenchu, but the presentation is very nice and so is the gameplay. I like Tenchu a lot too.

@ge77inhigh It's been a while since I played, but it usually means -- (Red) the enemy is attacking with powerful slashes that might break your guard. (Blue) The enemy managed to deflect your slash with a powerful block, and I think one of the two also meant you broke the enemies guard and slashed them.

@OriginalNamesHD There is a salesmen in one of the narrow parts of town, they sell Monk's Beads? Something like that on every playthrough that increases your HP by 200 if I recall. So every playthrough, always get those beads.

@TheVictor2801 At some point when you play enough. You can start pressing GUARD (with weapon on lethal side, not blunt) at the right moment before you are hit by an enemy attack. You may learn someone's technique and might eventually\ trigger the slash sequence.

cool way to get easy money! follow these steps. go to castle minouri. talk to the guard until he makes you fight all of the guards. now you have access to castle minouri whenever you want . when you talk to that be fat ruler guy,stay there until itssuste and yuma are out of that room. then kill the ouka ruler. as soon as you do that, you will go into a cut scene. when ur done with that cutscene all of the ouka idiots will bow to u. go to the job manager and collect 500 yen every day! 1000yen to

I dislike that in some of the endings they don't allow you to fight but instead predetermine your characters death, Prime example being the bandit clan (Ouka) or something like that. I spent atleast an half and hour or more clearing the entire camp of the Fujimori forces, Beating the general at the front door, Beating more soliders until they stopped respawning. Then the three flank army forces rushes in and then its like "He died with a smile on his face" W.T.F.

If i compare games to diamonds, then this is a diamond larger than most, but it's not very well polished and a little dirty. When other games such as halo, call of duty and giutar hero are smaller diamonds, but better polished, cleaned and overall taken care of than this one.

This game has potential, and would get alot higher ratings by just making smaller improvements to it. Like fixing some bugs, adding timewasters (fishing, a way to sit down, a way to make Itsuse your woman) and a more DLC.

@Anon1376642 Of course not all of the 'time wasters' i can think of need to be added, just a few + bug fixes. This could be done by updating it and adding DLC.

Personally i love the game, but i am a patient guy, unless bugs are a constant factor or prevent me from seing all the endings i don't mind it that much. All i'm saying is where the game lacks, and where it needs improvement. Wash away the bugs and polish the rough edges a little and alot more people are going to buy this.

The graphics are kind of poor quality, up to par with PS2, the plot is hardly changeable, way too many inevitable events, you'll always know what's going to happen, no twists, EXTREMELY SMALL MAP. The only plus is that there is plenty of variations of outfits you can have.

@kkkeikurono I had truble getting iaido or 'draw style' as it is reffered to in-game. I got it on my second playthrough by killing a guy in blue clothes at the 'guard gate' and taking his weapon. He stands on a small hill and claims to have been Yuma's former best friend.

@cerzzz yes, actually you can XD get 10k or so samurai points first tho to unlock everything, because it takes your "good boy" points away, doesnt stop me from beating them up XD I'd be the guy who'd knockout the leader of the bums, kick his body for about a half hour, kill him.. then hit on the chicks :) its amazing how entertaining it is to just beat people up, espically with char modles, i love running around as grandma! LOL then go kung fu on peps asses!

I love the whole Way of the Samurai series. Always have many ways to do something. It's like a Japanese version of Oblivion or Fallout 3, except it came first. Btw, I think the villagers response when they first saw you should be "Oh Damn, who the hell is this guy with such a nice suit?"

to get the "legendary title which gives u 50 extra attack and deffense" for ur sword all u have to do is max out the sword e.g. take a sword to the blacksmiths and have its durability increased to maximum(5)

then also increase ur weapons attack and deffense so u have used all the quality slots e.g. if ur sword is Q6 then upgrade it althe way to Q11-12 until u can no longer increase ur weapons stats so everythings ---- at smth

then go into title apprasiel and buy the legendary title for 500yen

Nah, on 360 you just press left bumper or right bumper with the default controls. Press Back button to make the weapon fatal or blunt (you knock opponent out instead of kill).
