I did a 54.590 in this event in '08 with the circuit's own pro-karts with the slightly shorter infield layout - but have also done a 54.872 in the Daytona Dmax 2-strokes on the longer infield layout when the Dmax championship went there this year. RM ;-)
PFI is flat & fast with a reasonable mix of corners, lots of run-off and pretty good lighting at night - so a good place for beginners to get to grips with karting. Despite acres of space for parking & owner drivers at race meetings and a great view of the whole circuit from the race control building - there aren't any proper changing rooms for hire kart stuff though?! What's that all about Mr.Fletcher? Rm ;-)

Great track.. Just raced there today and came 3rd out of 20 karts. Very hard in the wet but it soon dried out. It looks awsum in the dark :-)
