  • The stronget reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is as a last resort to protect ourselves against tyranny in government -thomas jefferson

now think about who really wants our guns and why....

  • If all that is needed for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing, isn't taking a superior tool from good men promoting evil?

By men i refer of course to people not the male gender... don't take it the wrong way.

  • Guns don't kill people or save lives any more than screwdrivers fix things.

  • @VariableassaultX Sorry for the very late comment but I just saw your statement about gun control that there was no "sword control" in the middle ages. Actually, there was a great amount of "sword control" in Europe and Asia. The peasants or COMMON PEOPLE were not allowed to own swords. Only the knights and Samurai classes (police and military) owned swords. Sound familiar? I agree with your points but felt a need to correct you on that one fact.

  • it's a hard fact that no amount of gun control, regulation, or law wil ever, EVER take the guns out of the hands of the criminals. They ONLY take guns away from the honest ones who never commit crimes and only from the ones who use their guns for the sole purpsoe of self defence agains robbery, home invasion, and other crimes. In Florida over 800, 000 conceiled weapons permits have been issued and not a sinlge one of those permnit holders has ever used their gun in the comision of a crime.

  • Guns don't save lives. The people who pull the trigger in self defence of themselve and others do in fact save lives, many lives.

  • actually, both arguments are wrong. Guns do kill people, & they save people. That being said, they can do nothing without their users, so to take away the rights of law abiding citizens to use and own guns is not going to deter those who use and own guns, illegally. A gun is a tool, just like a hammer or a saw, it can be used to kill, or to save. While guns do kill, they also save, so it then becomes the burden of the user to decide which one their gun will do. BTW, a wet floor can kill too..

  • First of All I like the approach deadeyekeith is taking for the support of our second amendment so thank you for that. We need more level headed people people like you with their wits about them.

And second I can see the argument this anit-gun youtuber is going to make to this video. He is going to say yes people with guns save lives but also people with guns take lives. To put some frosting on deadeyekeith's point law abiding citizens with guns save lives. Criminals with guns kill people.

  • LMAO, his account is closed now!

  • band so your dissincuriging fier line aka fence will not be near as effective so baning guns will incurage home invashons so the fact that a robber, murderer or rapist thinks you have a gun can save your life so guns do save lifes by detering bad people.

  • Well lets say guns dont kill people and thay dont save people then whats the problem? a guns beniffits out way the other bad gun owners bad desishons. The best defence is a good fence right well your house is a fiering line if some one unwelcomely crosses that line to hurt, rape, rob or murder you then you can leagaly shoot him in the nuts or where ever you feal is a resinable place my point is that fier line is no good if people know guns are banded because most likely you wont have one if tha-

  • Guns do not kill people, the person behind the gun does! Why don't we prosecute the people for their crime rather than blame a inanimate object!

  • I keep promoting gun carry in the gay community. Carrying a gun might not keep me from getting hit with a baseball bat or a rock from a passing car, but it's a hell of a comfort when I'm feeling vulnerable. And who knows, one day I might be able to save someone's life. If customers had been armed at my corner store, Pham would still be alive. He moved 12,000 miles and worked his ass off, only to be killed by a ghetto thug.

  • Q: Should a "law abiding person" have the right to any kind of firearm they want? You support all long guns/handguns. But what if I want, say, an M16? I think those are illegal, but why should they be? It seems to be if you believe "law abiding" people should have guns because they aren't going to do anything but protect themselves/hunt/target practice, there is no reason to limit gun ownership in any way, shape or form, since the problem is the "person" and not "the gun."

  • Gunsdokillpeople. I told you about that prick didn't I?

  • Hey Keith, it is true, people with guns do save lives. They patrol our streets to reduce crime, and protect us. Gun owners protect their families, thank you for being one of millions of gun owners keeping our Second Amendment alive.

  • here's my position 57,000,000 people in just the last 100years collected un armed people after passing a gun law where un able to protect them selves where rounded up and exterminated all by government, the question I would pose in light of this if FEMA camps&coffins are already in place and they are passing law's that hitler passed him self law's that clearly was not passed or wanted by the people as well as against are constitution. why on earth would you even think of letting your guns go???

  • that guy is just some nutjob troll. he doesn't take his own position sseriously. he gets off on your making a response and personally i don't think we should feed the troll.

  • Another fine video.

gave me some lols after I went and watched some of his videos. WHAT A JOKE :p.

keep up the good work Keith

  • Thanks Bro~ Always good. The "gunskillpeople" guy is a complete joke...

    5*****

  • ROFLMAO!!

  • thanks for mentioning me. oh yeah, did you notice that when he left a comment, he did not adress your question at all. he just sputtered a bunch of nonsense. I wonder what that tells us.

  • No problem. Thanks for the heads up.

  • He steals your ideas. Not only that he is a sock account for the Brady Campaign, he isn't even a real user. Not only that when you try and refute his points he takes you to an infected website to crash your computer.

  • True, guns are tools and incapable of action on their own. But we are shooting ourselves in the foot (sorry) by taking up this semantical question at face value without addressing the root assumption, which is that guns are only useful for killing, injuring or frightening people.

Fence-sitters should be reminded that guns also punch holes in paper (recreation), and feed people by hunting and by protection of livestock and crops against varmints, among other uses.

  • How many of these gun control advocates were against Ted Kennedy having a car?

  • Nope! gun control doesn't work. the pentagon shooting proves it. The guy had a mentalillness history got a hold of one and shot up the Pentagon. Gun control works... For criminals.

  • Ok, guns don't kill people is a bad argument, guns are not designed to buy people flowers or freshen the air. The law refers to the use of a firearm as deadly force, not loving force. That being said, a hammer drives nails, and in the right hands those nails can build a house. Guns DO kill people, that's right a gun advocate said it, guns DO kill people. In the right hands though that ability can be harnessed to protect ones life or the life of a family member. Keep up the good work Keith.

  • Keith comes out swinging but it turns out that the opponent knocked himself out first!

  • LOL!

  • I think I should start a channel called

    carsKILLpeople

  • This pathetic troll apparently never attended any classes on logic:

one can claim that A implies B but one CANNOT turn this implication around and say NOT A therefore NOT B.

That's a basic and fundamental flaw in his reasoning.

    Take care Keith, you rock!

For the uneducated haters: guns save lives without killing people, just shoot the attacker's non-vital spots. You'll hurt him, scare the living crap outta him yet will not kill.

Kicked in the balls with their own argument - sweet!

  • Or you can draw and not shoot. That would work too hahas.

  • @jake262144 While it is true that denying the antecedent (A implies B, not B, there for not A) is an invalid argument, this is not the argument that our opponent is using. He is using a valid syllogism that could be summarized thus.

Inanimate objects cannot act on their own.

If you cannot act on your own, then you cannot save.

    Therefore, inanimate objects cannot save.

He has changed the variables, but has kept the same form of the argument. It is a valid argument.
