I'm fine with needles but I felt like this reaction on the inside. I was freaking out more then when the actual needle went in. I only felt one of the piercings. The second one was perfectly fine. Glad you got it done. My industrial is my favorite piercing.

Should I not get the industrial piercing because of this? He does clean his hands often but its the bumping and moving around that worries me. What should I do? Thanks.
looks like it didn't bleed at all you're lucky! mine bled like a bitch! and that piercer wasn't very friendly was she? The guy who did mine was super awesome he talked a lot and was very sociable.
@SchizoBrinaScreams - Everyone's pain tolerance level is different... it might be better or it might be worse, depending on the person. I may have made it look "bad," in your opinion, but I would personally be hesitant to advise anyone to go out and get their industrial pierced because it's not for everyone (pain-wise, style-wise, etc.)

When I got mine did I was laying down he had me sit on a stall and I didn't move or make noise and it was over before I knew it and the piercer helper was they your gangsta you didn't move or make any noise but for me it hurt for like a couple hours aleast two lol but I've had it for three days and it feels way better than it did on the first day !

oh boo, i cant get an industrial bar there, so i have to do it another way if i want one. i'm planning on getting a longer one through the upper curve and then through where you would get a bottomg snug. i dont know if it's possible but i'm going to talk to a piercer soon.
You are so lucky. When I got mine done my peircer didn't use that type of tool to help him. He just marked the spots where he was going to pierce told me to inhale and exhale, and shoved the bar through my ear,2 times.
i just got my done yesterday and it was my first cartilage piercing ever and id have to say that the side of your ear where they pierce it hurts a little more then the top part. the piercer said that you should expect that because the side of the ear has more flesh then the top. also my ear kept bleeding for a straight 10 mins. but she said it was normal to bleed alot. so dont let some videos make you not want to get it done. i love the way mine looks!!
How much does it hurt compared to a lobe piercing or a cartilage piercing? More? Less? The same? I've got my lobes pierced (x2) and my cartilage pierced on my left ear. If I barely felt anything when I had those done, how will I feel when I have this done? Lol. So many questions!!!
@Taarable - I actually brought my friend get hers today, so I saw the hole procedure done again. Many people say that it's the most PAINFUL piercing... and the piercer I spoke with today said that it is the most difficult piercing to heal. It can take up to 1+ years. Lobe piercings don't hurt at all, to me... and an industrial is TWO cartilage piercings in one. It definitely stings/burns, but it barely bleeds. The only thing is that it takes a LONG time to heal.

@TiaBabiiboo13 - It all depends on where you get it done. I was able to get my piercing for $30, but when I brought a friend to get hers done, they wanted to charge $60. I advise shopping around before you make a decision and find the cheapest/safest place.

i just got mine done a few days ago. the initial hole didnt hurt on the top, but when the second one goes thru it hurts like hell because they have to stretch the needle and you can feel it moving and tugging at the cartilage. i still think the worst part of it was hearing your cartilage pop, and threating the bar thru the holes.

@OmfgitsKiera - I won't lie, when it comes to pain, I don't handle it that well. My friend (the one who filmed this) also got hers pierced right after me, though, and though it appeared that she handled it better than I did, she was complaining about the pain WAY more than I was afterwards. In the end, though it did hurt, it was NOT bad at all.

@Kmatthew08 - I think it depends on each individual person and how the healing process is going... I changed mine at about 5 months, but that's because mine was having trouble healing. I think it just varies.

i just got my industrial today & its soo worth it & i absolutely love it! i'm 14 & i don't like needles or shots but it wasn't that bad. i got it done really quickly & it just pinches. now it just burns which is normal for the first day or two. mine cost about $65 but it depends where you go. if your not sure about getting it deff go for it its well worth it!

@Sunset89305 it hurts a little bit like it feels like someone is pinching your cartiledge hard but its not bad. trust me i absolutely hate shots & needles too but it wasn't that bad. its deff worth it & if you really want it you'll be more excited then scared & once it's over you'll be like thats it? hahaa and for the first day it feels like its burning but thats normal and if its sore take an advil to help the pain especially before you go to sleep the first couple of days.

i just got my done yesterday and it was my first cartilage piercing ever and id have to say that the side of your ear where they pierce it hurts a little more then the top part. the piercer said that you should expect that because the side of the ear has more flesh then the top. also my ear kept bleeding for a straight 10 mins. but she said it was normal to bleed alot. so dont let some videos make you not want to get it done. i love the way mine looks!!

How much does it hurt compared to a lobe piercing or a cartilage piercing? More? Less? The same? I've got my lobes pierced (x2) and my cartilage pierced on my left ear. If I barely felt anything when I had those done, how will I feel when I have this done? Lol. So many questions!!!

@Taarable - I actually brought my friend get hers today, so I saw the hole procedure done again. Many people say that it's the most PAINFUL piercing... and the piercer I spoke with today said that it is the most difficult piercing to heal. It can take up to 1+ years. Lobe piercings don't hurt at all, to me... and an industrial is TWO cartilage piercings in one. It definitely stings/burns, but it barely bleeds. The only thing is that it takes a LONG time to heal.

I want mine done!!! Lol how much did your cost?? I mean it looks like it hurts but I've had my tongue and my ears done and NONE or them hurt! I handle pain very very well so yea lol how much did it cost?? That's what I most worried about

@TiaBabiiboo13 - It all depends on where you get it done. I was able to get my piercing for $30, but when I brought a friend to get hers done, they wanted to charge $60. I advise shopping around before you make a decision and find the cheapest/safest place.

@jenifahitlah - I'm letting a few close up... but I've had: my bellybutton, my lobes (3x), my tragus, my industrial, my helix and my rook. Now, I just have my bellybutton, my lobes (1x), my tragus and my industrial. I had too many, lol.

i just got mine done a few days ago. the initial hole didnt hurt on the top, but when the second one goes thru it hurts like hell because they have to stretch the needle and you can feel it moving and tugging at the cartilage. i still think the worst part of it was hearing your cartilage pop, and threating the bar thru the holes.

i got mine done last night and it hurt but i could tolerate it but while its healing it hurts like hell you cant bump it or sleep on it but im still glad i got it . I love it

Wierd how it hurts some people more than others! my friend got hers done and it didnt hurt her at all, i had mine done and it was the most painful thing iv ever had done! it hurt so much i didnt even say anythin i just sat there staring forward and didnt make a sound, im not tryin to scare people from having it done, but cus i watched these videos and heard off my friends that it didnt hurt i thought it wouldnt hurt me, but it really did!! and im good with pain haa! looks so sweet after tho :) x

@OmfgitsKiera - I won't lie, when it comes to pain, I don't handle it that well. My friend (the one who filmed this) also got hers pierced right after me, though, and though it appeared that she handled it better than I did, she was complaining about the pain WAY more than I was afterwards. In the end, though it did hurt, it was NOT bad at all.

@Kmatthew08 - I think it depends on each individual person and how the healing process is going... I changed mine at about 5 months, but that's because mine was having trouble healing. I think it just varies.

when i got mine done, they didnt use a clamp, any quite frankly, the piercing didnt hurt. Like it felt unnecessary but it didnt hurt.

Hey I'm also very very afraid of needles and got my Helix a view days ago. It helped... a little bit :) I'm glad i did it although now its really annoying to avoid sleeping on the pierced ear ^^

i just got my industrial today & its soo worth it & i absolutely love it! i'm 14 & i don't like needles or shots but it wasn't that bad. i got it done really quickly & it just pinches. now it just burns which is normal for the first day or two. mine cost about $65 but it depends where you go. if your not sure about getting it deff go for it its well worth it!

@Sunset89305 it hurts a little bit like it feels like someone is pinching your cartiledge hard but its not bad. trust me i absolutely hate shots & needles too but it wasn't that bad. its deff worth it & if you really want it you'll be more excited then scared & once it's over you'll be like thats it? hahaa and for the first day it feels like its burning but thats normal and if its sore take an advil to help the pain especially before you go to sleep the first couple of days.

Lol i'm terrified of needles too but i'm considering this piercing, since i don't want any facial ones. Was it really painful? My ears tend to be slow at healing so that might be a problem :P Might I add, that chick is an idiot for not using a clamp on the second part!
