@UP5140SD70M thanks thats what i thought it might be I own an oldcast P5 I bought years ago from a hobbyshop closing but I got no paperwork on it so I cannot mount it on my truck I was told however I can go to one of those online company selling Real (not those chrome toys)and buy a package deal complete with one of these K5LA New cast horns I may still do that but I am mounting it in the Correct Place on Top of my truck which I hear I will catch Hell for Oh well correct or not at all
@UP5140SD70M so apparentlly by changeing the bell direction on those K5LA horns a differnt sound can be achieved very interesting I know the ones I looked at are the standred all foward pattern like on most modern Amtrak diesels I would love to accive this deep throated sound like this on my truck if I get one of these horns than try to contraol myself from blowing it unless really needed and not playing with the horn LOL I am mounting a manual air valve like on the older locomotives in my cab
This actually isn't all that bad. In fact, if you mounted your camera on a tripod, leveled it (I know those tracks can't be THAT tilted), and fine tuned the zoom a bit, why, you'd have a pretty darn good video. Practice makes perfect!
how in the fuck was this entertaining. not funny at all. no1 talks. its a fucking train thats loud. i guess it has something to do with the camera? please respond to this im fucking annoyed by how retarded this video is. and if it has some type of reason for its existence than please forgive me. WTF
My initial impresion is that the sound of the horn became distorted; those things are so LOUD that the volume probably overloaded the camcorder's mic.
Screw the horns! Next time make a video with just a scene that has the sounds only of the locomotives. Maybe a panoramic shot of a train crossing a river on a bridge. Most of my video friends say that crossings bells, blasting horns kill the scenes. Take it from a pro That has been selling railroad videos for many years I have never taken as many shots of crossings as you.
I feel sorry that in mexico it´s unusual to see one of these engies on the lead, because EMD found a problem that curiously they didn´fixed, besides they can´t be in mexico´s city because the labor union don´t want them.
Man what a horn.It makes a wierd sound as it's passing the camera.
