This is absolutely GORGEOUS. If you don't mind, I do have a few questions though:
--I have a 7D and 500/4 IS and both 1.4x II and 2x II teleconverters (actually, the 2x II comes in the mail today!). I am ASTONISHED how beautifully clear this video is w/ stacked tc's. Any tricks or tips?
--My laptop isn't very powerful and viewing 1080p on youtube is extremely choppy, although 720p is fine. Should I just shoot in 720p? Your vids at 720p look amazing to me!
At 1400 mm focal length, shake control is critical. You need a sturdy tripod and a good fluid head. I activate mode 2 IS when panning to lessen shake. Stop down the 1400 mm rig to f/22 - f/45 to get a deeper DOF. Don't worry about diffraction..... the resampling from 18 MP sensor output to 2 MP video will increase apparent sharpness.

Thanks! Yes, some clips were slowed down to 40% of normal speed.

I'm so happy to discover your videos. All superb! May I ask if you used "slow motion" in this video? Thanks.
