Ok, it's a long story but I'll try to answer your queston pizzapap. Ok, Jim told Pam he loved her and she rejected him because she was engaged to Roy who works in the warehouse. After being rejected, Jim goes to a different branch to work where he meets Karen, the rebound girl. After the branch Jim had just started at gets downsized, they all go to the Scranton branch. By then Pam is single, but it's Jim's turn to reject her 'cause he's with Karen now.

Does that makes sense?

The scene at 2:43 is from 217-Dwight's Speech. Pam is on the phone about wedding stuff and Jim decides to go on a trip, so picks up the phone to call a travel agency. The scene at about 3:00 is from 206-The Fight. It's when they're at the gym with Michael and Dwight.

In real life Jenna Fischer is really pretty...Ooo good video by the way. Despite the fact that Karen may be prettier than Pam in the series, Jim and Pam have had this connection since the beginning; it's not something that can be easily forgotten. Plus, Pam is willing to have a laugh around in the office, ex. when they played that prank on Andy (Karen refused cause she wanted to do work!). It's just Jim and Pam are always willing to joke around; they're great together.
