@chernobleman How can you say Islam is an ideology? Islam is considered one of the 3 great religions. It was Thomas Jefferson who first recognized Islam as a religion protected by the Constitution and used texts for the Quran to write the Declaration of Independence. And that same Quran was used to during the inauguration of the first Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison. And also, if Islam is a twisted ideology, why is it the fastest growing religion in the world?

Everyone 600 years ago 'knew' that the Earth was flat, and that the sun revolved around the Earth. 60 years ago everyone 'knew' it was impossible to travel faster than sound. All religions, Islam included, are just ideologies that can just as easily be abused for personal gain as communism. Just take a look at Iran, or Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan.
