kashima's players must have learned some lessons from this game. it is definitely a shame that we couldnt own adelaide tho. but if you see kashima in recent J-league, you will find their playing style has changed to harder and stricter one than it was before this game.
What an amazing game of football. Our Defending was superb, and we attacked when we needed to. Ive never been to a football match before with that kind of atmosphere. Those Japanese supporters behind the goals were very vocal
i went to local pub to watch this and was good to see a lot of leaguies where interested in it too, got home and realized i havent finished my assignment for uni tomoz
This is what I love! Most other countries like England and Italy, any Champions League progress earned by a club is looked down upon by other club supporters wanting them to lose. Us Australians know that when it comes to the A-League, all other teams but your own can rot in hell but when it comes to the Asian Champions League, the whole country gets behind the Australian team through and through!!!
Ye this may be true because we want recognition from the rest of asia. Aussies always seeks for approval from other countries. Different story in europe coz they already have that respect so just having an english team or italian team in the finals doesn't really do it for them anymore.
The reason why aussie football supporers from other clubs are getting behind Adelaide is because as far as football has advanced in this country since the Crawford Inquiry, the veneer of success is still wafer thin and there is till resistance to football in the mainstream media. Plus the fact that the crowds fot the A league have declined slightly this season arguably indicate that they hyoe is over and we're on a downward slide similar to the slide experienced by the NSL in the early eighties.
Cont from previous - However Adelaide's marvelous run, which after the events tonight against Kuruvchi, could see them get to the world club championships, is doing a lot to maintain the buzz and momentum of football in Australia. Hopefully this momentum will be continued until the expansion of the A league with teams from the Gold coast and Townsville which along with successfull qualification for the world cup should keep the hype and promotion going until 2012.
Cont from previous - These arre the reasons why Australian football supporters from other clubs, myself included, are going for Adelaide. In 20 years time it might be a different case?
And it isn't until they find out it's Cornthwaite that they escalate. "Adelaide take the lead... ROBBIE CORNTHWAITE!?!?!?!" Then Harper go on for a bit to the point where I'm slightly scared (1:04).
I'm a fan of Perth Glory but it is bloody good to see an A-League team doing so well in the Asian Champions League. I was rooting for you guys on my television and I hope you guys go all the way for the good of the A-League and Australian football in general, take it one game at a time though!!!

in short, the winner of next game can
automatically join in club world cup
even if the team lost in final.
adelaide or kuruvchi...
I want to see Rivaldo in japan.
but adelaide is strong too.
trafficker615 3 years ago
that was just shit goal keeping it was a sweet cross by cassio the header wasnt that good the keeper should of saved it.
jcarter888 3 years ago
Because it was not a team with high level, I thought that ANTLERS was defeated of Adelaide. Thinness in the player layer sounded.

Theres nothing wrong with that,
Theres only one way to do it, Hard and Fast, not slow and short,
Thats why he sounds exhaused,
Perhaps at half time he was whacking off with with trance music in the background.
Whacking off to trance gives you such a good time, and beat and rythym. And the ejaculation is normally quite powerful.
