@TheHejhs No, not every Bears game. Jim Cornelison is the regular National Anthem singer of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks. His stirring rendition was used in two 2010 Bears playoff games, so he's more of a guest Anthem singer borrowed from the Hawks for the Sept. 11th Bears game.

All: just moved back to Chicago (where I'm originally from) from LA a few days ago. I DO own an HDTV, thank you for pointing that out, but I'm not settled in yet - I recorded this from someone else's TV. And I wasn't at the game, so a TV recording will have to do. And if I wasn't recording this during the Anthem, I would've been cheering my head off - it's what we DO in Chicago when Jim Cornelison sings the Anthem. I'm a proud Chicagoan, PROUD AMERICAN. (oh, and Go Bears!)

@RealKoolKid1 It's a tradition in Chicago because of the NHL all star game of 91. Jim Cornelison sings the anthem for the Blackhawks, and the crowd would go crazy because of that tradition. It's actually pretty patriotic, as we show how we care for our country by CHEERING for it, especially on 9/11. I think some kid is just sad their Falcons lost :)

I'm sorry, I realize he is popular. But I cannot stand this man's style. Monontone and no emotion. There's a reason he sings in stadiums and not on the radio or concert halls. Where's the last word, "brave?" It's good that others like his rendition and find it moving. The National Anthem should be moving.
