@cozzey05 Depends on what all you consider to be stock. What people don't realize about this car is that it is a power cruiser. This thing rides better than most cars. It's perfect for me as it looks awesome (looks much better to me than the GTR), and it floats down the road (rides better than most anything else) and its got some balls to it. Just a fantastic car.

I have driven both and honestly the Challenger is more fun, the GTR is a computerized apex tool that does most of the skilled driving for you. This is not driving involvement. All the Challenger has is one button for ESP and a wonderful "manual" gearbox, as far I am concerned as long as I actually get to drive. I don't care if a I get beat. Because I am still a better driver.

its by no means rice, but there are about 4 things i dont like about it, it doesnt come in a standard transmission, if you use i guess its called the sport mode, it voids the warranty. The transmissions already are breaking, and the fact they only got 480 hp out of a twin turbo 3.8 and they are boosting 17.8 psi. I don't know man..all of the 09's got the same rear end other than the gear ratios. Stick is shown to be no faster and may even be harder to launch. I had 0 wheel spin. Track was prepped pretty good. I really love this car!
when you have the esp on... which you need on the normal road the car will get going quicker than the auto's and the rear end is also different btw, haha dont mean to be an ass but the rear has a lim slip diff with and tranny withmore aggressive ratios i dont remeber the exact ratio but i remember readin it, its got a viper trans in it btw

its by no means rice, but there are about 4 things i dont like about it, it doesnt come in a standard transmission, if you use i guess its called the sport mode, it voids the warranty. The transmissions already are breaking, and the fact they only got 480 hp out of a twin turbo 3.8 and they are boosting 17.8 psi. You would think they would have gotten more out of that nbig v6 with that much boost

yeah and a cobra is a great car with no handling,no speed no braking ,no nothing compared ato a gtr and i own a 2006 mustang gt ,but ,objectively speaking the gtr is the best car in the world for the price.

I would like to see the Hennessy Turbo Challenger go up against GT-R..the Henny gets about 126mph 1/4 mile. They stripped some weight.
a stock challenger is to cruise and maybe turn some heads..stock for stock it doesnt stand a chance against the GT-R though.

I don't know. I've driven the car a bunch and have to admit, its pretty damn awesome. Doesn't feel like it's riding on the edge at all. Pretty well built in my opinion.

7.3s pretty darn quick for the 1/8th!!! My Syclone runs 7.7s!! Anything with AWD and a ton of HP will always have the edge!!!!! Props for the GTR!! GREAT CAR/ FAST CAR!! Who cares where it comes from!!! IF its fast, I like it! Its always an enjoyment running whoever the guy or whatever is beside me at the track!! All the haters need to get over it!! Don't get me wrong I really like the SRT8 that's why I tried to defend it, not thinking about the fact that the car owner was driving and shooting the vid,,I would never intentionally be overly critical of an SRT8 owner. Challenger SRT's are great looking cars with lots of power. GTR R35 is lighter with similar HP,, You need some mods if your going to race such light cars. (Chally's look better)

Oh ok. Take no offense, you came off much differently in your original comment. The launch was perfect on this run. Hit the trees and had absolute excellent track prep. I'll rephrase like this: no one is going to get a better run in a stock SRT8 than I had in that race. The car gave everything it had. The guy in the GTR is my friend. I have driven the car plenty. Fact is, it is an awesome machine and so is my SRT8, just different flavors. I have another vid of run at different angle. Will post.

I don't know man..all of the 09's got the same rear end other than the gear ratios. Stick is shown to be no faster and may even be harder to launch. I had 0 wheel spin. Track was prepped pretty good. I really love this car!

when you have the esp on... which you need on the normal road the car will get going quicker than the auto's and the rear end is also different btw, haha dont mean to be an ass but the rear has a lim slip diff with and tranny withmore aggressive ratios i dont remeber the exact ratio but i remember readin it, its got a viper trans in it btw

Yeah man, the rear in the auto is 3.06 and the manuals have a 3.93 plus i think the auto transmission itself is a tad bit heavier
