I am sorry guys. I've been away on vaccation and in the meantime I had the honor of beeing apprached by 2 artists telling me that this song is NOT - and i state again NOT Mark Knopfler. I am truely sorry but i have a friend on myspace who is a knopfler'fanatic who gave me all the specs/lies for this song, which i though was true and really good, and to me sounded like MK on lead, and i only wanted to share it. So i've been hoaxed BIG TIME.

The song is as new as it gets since the mp3 my "so called friend" sent me, was a "tester/teaser" sent to him from one of the artists. (He is now excluded as a tester after "rasnv" & "leksingen" got news of this.

Now I will now change the info for this video, and link to the 2 artists who actually spent alot of time doing a collabaration.

That's right! The guitar might sound MK style, but you can easely recognize by the voice that this is NOT Mark Knopfler. The real name of this guy is Lucky Peterson and this tune is from 1998

Great song, beautifully constructed and played solo - really nice but it is NOT Mark's fingers on thoses strings. Great playing though whoever it is - kudos! A little softer on the pull-off's, generally a bit more vibrato and not so much of those patented Knopfler slides and your there!.

The playing is simply not good enough to be Mark Knopfler. It's got Mark's "sound", but lacks his determination and finesse. Besides, IF this was him, the news about it would have surfaced either on his official news page, Guy Fletcher's page or on some fan forum. To this day I can't recall having read about this in any of these places.

I can understand that, but i was told it's done at Dockside studio in louisianna, by a faily good source - and to me its got that knopfler twang
