  • hi

  • I got one, it's excellent. Of course, it's not as shiny and stylish as the Ipod but it does the job (and even more considered the formats and the radio you can record live, etc.).

My next one will probably be a Sansa or a Cowon (2 excellent brands)

  • like the shuffle for its small size, but for the lord of... i tunes sucks! finally something i can just drag&drop audio files into a folder instead of having to download ghey itunes to load my music.

  • LOL this thing is so small that i forgot it was in my pant pocket and i washed my pants and after the washing was done i picked everything up in a big pile and put it in the driar 30 minutes later i opened up the driar and my sansa clip fell out i was like noooooo lol it dident work for several weeks then i tried it again and it still worked like and it has deep scrath over the screen P.S that was in 2008 now 2011 and still goin strong mp3 over an ipod anyday......

  • Someone stole my SansaClip not to mention my sennheiser headphones. Not best pleased as this things amazing.

  • this audio player is cool :) small ,cute and light weight . how much GB have it? what is the price?

  • @ADY18K 140 grams.... compared to the shuffle (30 grams)

  • where can i get this mp3 player?and like how much does it cost?

  • what is mp3 player clip?

  • @MrGaryg7 I need to buy a few of these! I love mine. I don't use it much for playback now that I have a 32 GB iPod G4, but it's still a great little audio recorder for covert recording of conversations, both in person and on the phone. Check your local laws for the legality. I'm still loving the tiny size, super long battery life, ridiculously long term charge retention when powered down (months!), and the drag & drop. The iPod proprietary data transfer sucks.

  • this player rocks. it survived in my washer and played fine after that. :)

  • This mp3 player is great. I got it for just over 20 Dollars, and it was great. easy to use, great sound quality and long battery life. I had it for over a year and i had not problems with. Now it starts to have some problems but only because it was in my pool. However if you are looking for an mp 3 player and you don't want to pay so much. This is the one you should go for.

  • i also just brought this mp3 player sansa clip,it even more better than ipod shuffle ,it have screen,it cheaper, and most important it have radio FM.This beat them all! :D

  • this thing sucks the fucker broke on me

  • MY LAST NAME IS ALSO McNamara ! just thought id share that [=

  • can u put downloaded torrents on this?

  • i will give all of you the run down of the clip .everybody says they die after 3 days to more than three months and all their fault sort of the battery wire to make the battery charge in it will sometimes gets disconected so it tends to not turn on if not charged so simply open the unit and saulder the wire back to the battery. this should fix the "dieing" problem. and if it freezes up go back to the main menu and wait a few seconds i think the reason why the wire comes during EXERCISE so it get

  • I bought this mp3 player on ebay and i must say i elimates all the other small mp3 player that i have been using. Good bye ipod shuffle you have been a waste of money for me. If i was to choose the ipod shuffle with the Sansa Clip for sure its the Sansa Clip. The Sansa clip is cheap and also good for working out. And plus the Sansa Clip has a screen and can do alot on a little player. iPod shuffle i have one word for you. Adios. Because the Sansa Clip is taking over now

  • but how do you get the battery full again?

  • I want one SOOOOO...... BAD!!!

  • the girl is hot

  • my sansa clip wont turn on but when i plug it into the computer its lights up and charges.. anybody kno wuts wrong???

  • @austinj100 Almost certainly, the switch is bad. It's nearly impossible to work on stuff like this. Generally, repair is by replacement.

  • @austinj100 your battery might not be sustaining a charge or your not holding down the button long enough if not that i recomend getting a kensington power pack off buy.com for 40$ or hold down center button for 10 sec and atempt turning it on

  • How long is the battery life when using the player on full volume? I used my sansa clip 2gig for about 10 minutes and it ran the battery down to 87%. I'm a bit concerned because I just received this today. I originally ordered this to replace my other mp3 player that had a short battery life.

  • ya i want to know can they all record cz i just record my songs good i had one of those but lost it at school

  • How do you fit that battery in there?

  • It was a comparison. It has a different, smaller battery inside :).

  • yep it good sounds better with some other head phone. Little bet confusing with play list. Artist, Album. Good finish. got it as a gift.

  • Hey Erin, you iz cute :-p

  • @kankaroo pervert

  • @classicRock67

Why pervert, because I am into women?

    ;-)

  • got a 4gb clip on ebay for $28 shipped, my last one roasted in my car, left it in there on accident in the sun, these batteries last hella long, i love anything from sandisk, they are great!

  • ita all Willie Wonkas fault !

  • its a great mp3 it has great sound and hold a lot of music but if you want something that lasts dont get this one......ii bought one and in less than a year it broke like 4 months tops.....it wont even turn on anymore......the only way i can listen to my music is by sticking the charger in it and connecting it to the outlet......and i don t see the point in that....

  • i might get Philips SA1922 2GB MP3 Player cos it last 27 hours and it is cheaper than Sansa Clip

  • it's cheaper now in the uk is £30 used to b £60 i might get this

  • £20 brand new on Ebay I just got mine today. seller id gkl1960

  • its way better then an ipod shuffle

  • @XCLOWDXX

I think it is even better than the nano!

  • how do you get a charger a guy sold to me for $70.00 but with no charger

  • just get a mini usb

  • Comment removed

  • mine just broke after a month.

    i don't recommend this.....

  • That sucks. I have had mine for 4 months and its perfect. I recommend it. I got a case for it and use it frequently in the car. WIth any electronic device trhere are bound to be lemons. I havent seen an Mp3 yet where someone doesnt declare theirs broke and think its a bad product. overall.

  • how did it break

  • This looks like an awesome player, it handles FLAC too which is a huge advantage for me, especially considering the iPod Nano which is twice as expensive cannot play it, I'm getting the 8gb version for 629 SEK, or about 83 dollars, that's just insanely cheap compared to it's rivals offerings.

  • i got one. it (i think) is better than the $40 ipod way wayy wayyy better

  • No, Man I mean Wheneva I connect my sansa clip to the USB cable it dnt be shwing up on my computr and some of the songz isaved onto my sansa dnt even wrk.Guessin b/c it got no MP3 Formatt sound

  • unplug the unit from the pc

    open the settings menu

    go to usb mode

    switch it to msc

itll work like a usb drive...

  • @ploopsy666 how come mine doesnt say usb mode in the settings menu.??

  • i dont know. Double check the steps.

  • yea i turn it on and go down to SETTINGS. But all that shows up is EQUALIZER POWER DISPLAY LANGUAGE FM SETTINGS VOLUME SYSTEM INFO RESET ALL FORMAT and PRESS AND HOLD You think theres something wrong with mine : /
  • I have one

  • My Computer doesnt Recognize my Sansa Clip, and i tried everyting, how can I fix this. ASnd for soem reason wen i try to charge it my sansa clip just keepz on running the songz and charge at the asme time so its actually loosing charge. How can i fix this ?

  • go to settings, go to usb connection or something like that and select a different connection...i had that problem...hope you didn't go out and buy a very expensive one cause it really works great after you figure that out!!!

  • can n e 1 recomend this ? or does it break as often as every1 says

  • ive had mine for months. Dropped it a few times. Still as good as the day I bought it.

  • Oh my God I cant download songs....help!!

  • 1) place barrel of gun in mouth.

    2) pull trigger.

  • Actually, I figured it out so now I have like 107 songs on it!

  • mine

    got messed up yesterday ..=\

  • i am planing on geting 1 tomorrow lets see if it works out

  • 2 questions:

    - Is it true they're launching an 8GB version ?!

    - In this player's UI when I am, for instance, in the artist selection do I get a sort of side bar to jump letters? Or do I have to scroll through every artist if I want to go from -say- Arctic Monkeys to Ziki (Assuming I don't scroll the other way round, u know what i mean)

The thing is, I want an 8GB player but without photos and video nonsence. A straight forward 8GB just to listen. Thanks in advance!

  • i have one its bullshit

  • hey, i bought a sansa and it doesnt seem to be charging from my computer, could u tell me how to charge it?

  • if u want to charge it, u can use a motorilla cellphone charger i hope this helps :]

  • my bro had one and he lost it the very next day.........

  • Very slick mp3 player. On my website you can sign up with Napster to do music downloads to your mp3 player. On a free trial. Just go to my profile access my website to see.

  • i just bought sansa 4GB its really gud.....

  • I just bought the 2GB Sansa Clip on Amazon for $31.75 including shipping and sales tax.

I wanted a small audio player that was super easy to use, for recorded books and podcasts, and it had to work with Linux, which this does. Drag and drop audio files from the file manager and it even plays Ogg files. Woot!

USB recharging, 15 hour battery life and audio recording are great features!

  • i got this awesome mp3 player which is the sansa clip something i just want to ask if u can change the color blue to some other color?

  • @Liberty4Ever i bought 3.5 gb for 20$ off some kid in my german class NEW!! a couple of days ago

  • @piggykiller77 I lost my 2 GB Sansa Clip. I immediately replaced it with the 4 GB version for about the same price I paid for the 2 GB version. The version with the mini-SD card had been out for a while, so the previous version was cheap.

  • @Liberty4Ever hey i hav a question....can the clip on the back be removed?

  • @DaRandomKid The back clip slides on and clicks in place. You can slide it off with a firm push, but it doesn't come off in normal use.
