I got one of them because I thought it was gonna run smooth, no.

It idles at 80oC - The graphics is sh*t - HDD is tiny - vista basic is shizzle - ugly - Mines falling apart, keys are just dropping off. Don't bother with this model :/

how do i take the screen off to replace it with another one?

@uniquedominican101 behind the rubber stoppers in the corners you will see screws you take out. then pop off the plastic case. then take out the screws on the metal casing of the screen. flip down the screen and disconnect all the wires. then pull out. then put in new screen. reconnect the connections. put it into the metal case and screw back in. then put back on the plastic case. put screws back in. then turn on computer to verify that it works. if not you messed up something

yeh mate ive got a bluetooth button but no bluetooth aswell i think it is something to do with it being a cheaper model and it does say on the instructions for the webcam in brackets (only in selected models)

I have bought this one, Im in luv with it X3, it came with vista but it sucks, so I installed it Ubuntu 9.04, everything works, and it is faster than it was with vista X3, purrrrfect, only thing I dont liek: the usb ports on that side, and that it has the bluetooth button, but does not come with the device, DUH!!!, oh well

They are ok but not great. I have this very laptop.

I just bought some speakers for $10 at Wal-Mart.

Eventually I bought a nice setup (speakers) for about $25. Made a great difference and I am happy now.

No. I tried to run an older FPS game and it was very laggy even on low settings. Strictly for basic internet use and etc.

Bare in mind this laptop is of good standerds the only thing to let the system down is the intergrated graphics (4500HDM) this will play older games without problem but since its only 64MB dedicated it cant do newer games :)

I just bought this laptop about a week ago. I've had to go to the Acer site and download some drivers. I still dont know y there is a bluetooth button. Anyone know if there are any available driver downloads? Otherwise I love this laptop. For the price you cant go wrong. The Vista version installed hasn't posed any problems yet.

Mine is an Acer, Aspire 5735Z, and it has way more key functions, FN, symbols, green keys, blue keys on some numbered keys it has up to 4 different options, reminds me of a technical scientifical calculator and no instruction booklet, lol, also 64 bit Vista home premium....I have a love/hate relationship with it currently, Imma workin on it tho, lol...peace!

You could change the battery settings. Just go to control panel and hit power options and change to power saver.

the reason that yours runs at the 2.2ghz is because yours actually has a t3400 processor, as shown in video. they must not have new labels for it yet lol, but mine has the t3200 which does in fact run at 2.2ghz

well you are right it doesn't come with a cd, but i have one laying around so it was easy for me to reinstall any version of vista on it, i am running ultimate on it right now

It is a Vista home premium upgrade dvd disc and I bought it in 2006 right after vista came out and put it on my dell e1505 which i no longer have, when you boot form the dvd when installing vista it will ask you what version you bought and you select what 1 you have. I selected ultimate because it gave me the option to, and and i activated it with a special program.

its a good cheap laptop, it doesnt have a page on the acer website BECAUSE ITS NEW, JUST CAME OUT 2 MONTHS AGO, they are adding a page to the website soon, also its not hard finding drivers for it. Its EASY!! I have all the drivers for mine when i reinstalled windows vista on it and Xp. Linux and Mac lol Mac's not really supposed to go on it but i put it on before
