I'm glad to see that you are trying new things. I think that technology has a lot of potential in the classroom. I worry about it a lot too, though. Indeed, while I have seen it successfully motivate students, I have rarely seen it significantly contribute to student understanding of material and often seen lack of understanding hidden by flashy gimmicks and students' tendency to focus on presentation over content. I hope that your project was more successful.
