I didn't waterproof anything. I just checked to make sure no snow was getting around the electronics.

They are not. I would lift my shell off to check the fan to make sure the ESC wasn't getting wet. When it was all said and done, I put it in front of my fireplace to dry out. I also mostly drove it on the street too.
