For a man who is, in my opinion, the most influential guitarist of our time, Jimmy Page is so humble. I think the fact he held back shows that he is one hell of a nice guy and he doesnt try to steal the limelight in any way because he wants everyone to have their time in the spotlight.

He doesnt need to be the star every time. Jimmy page IS rock'n'roll.

@progrockertom Hmmm... im not trying to be a dick but... knowing page's style... not really. Kirk's solo is a heavy metal solo - not a bad thing. Page solo is the god's solo. And sadly that day no one was allowed to hear it. Gentleman is a gentleman and he is probably one of the oldest, but at least Mr Page has got balls not to hide his age!

I would of like to have seen him play lead thats all, I don't think he's past it by any means (just look at the reunion bootlegs) and if you look at David Gilmour, it is possible to get better with age!
