Overall I think this was a good documentary.

I refuse to pick a side in this war. The enemy is religion itself and I make no distinction between the Israeli Army, the Islamic extremists like Hamas and Hezbollah purporting to be liberators, or indeed the Christian crusades of the British Empire. I would have to maintain that religion is merely an extension of politics, and that a signifiant part of it IS about power. The reason the conflict is so aggressive from both sides is because of the significance of the land to both parties - not just its previous ownership.

Similarly, the Northern Irish conflict with the British and then with itself, has been a power struggle between Catholics and Protestants. Here, I find religion, politics and conquest inextricably linked again.
