As a hardcore Morello and Einziger fan, I feel like I should reply. Whatever, that opening riff is pretty similar to for example Bombtrack. I actually sometimes confuse them myself when playing the guitar. But something I've noticed, Morello's riffs are usually always in either E, F sharp or D. This one is in D and the D+octave chord during the chorus is something that Morello uses alot. Otherwise, I'd consider Einziger a better composer, though Morello's riffs and solos are ingenious aswell.

I agree that there are obviously similarities; so much so, that I immediately thought of Morello the first time I heard this song. The riff, the octave chords, and the tone achieved with the neck pickup all added up to a very Morelloesque kind of deal. But who cares, people can share musical qualities like that.

I'm in agreement, I'd call Morello more the "Guitar Manipulator" and Einziger the "Guitar Conductor". One composes orchestra and the other's a political activist, and i love them both. Awesome.
