  • pj is a lovely horse u did good riding him hes a lazy horse though he threw someone off!! at cross country he charged and then stopped and she flew over the top of him hehe

  • @SaddleClub4Eva Haha gosh, doesn't sound like the PJ I used to know!

  • thats one lazy horse

  • @meadowvale1000 Agreed! Haha

  • @meadowvale1000 Agreed! Haha

  • CLASS!!!! I love cantering and jumping with no stirrups!!! But I HATE trotting without stirrups lol

  • @TheCrosscountryfreak Haha, same! LOL

  • I wouldn't have survived doing that! I can jump most things with stirrups but when I have to take them away I just cant go high, or go from canter to trot without having to grab onto the saddle momenterally! :L

  • @BethanHorseMad To be honest I'm pretty bad at it now! For some crazy reason I used to love doing this, but now I really dislike no-stirrup work xD

  • great job ur butts probably sore XD

  • I dislike the fact that your legs are so skinny :P When I ride by thighs go absoloutly MAHOOSIVE! Lovely horse btw :) I'm hoping to be able to canter and jump and such without stirrups but atm I've got an ex hurdler on loan who both rushes and over jumps jumps :/ Still the cantering is possible :)

  • @Beeny295 Haha, gosh, I bet my legs aren't that skinny now!Hmm yeah, I can see how that would be a problem :/. Hope you do get a chance to jump without stirrups! With the right horse it's great fun :)

  • cool i love horses

  • thats cool do jumping stable let you take care of the horse by your self and do you still ride

  • @trinitymiller13 Hmm, that's a hard one! Here it the UK most riding schools choose a horse for you (although you can put in a request), to help with the learning of your riding. But some places do things like "Own a pony day" and others, like another place I go to, actually let you choose the horse you ride! That's very rare though. Most places don't mind if you stay to help out/look after a horse either! It depends how big the place is, some placer here can be VERY busy with 40 riders an hour!

  • @trinitymiller13 Sorry if you just received about a million replies...Youtube's failing as usual!

  • Why do soem stable that do jumping make you do it with out sturrups?

  • @trinitymiller13 It's good for working on balance, and making the legs stronger, just like no-stirrup flatwork. But also it can be a lot of fun, as this lesson was a very relaxed, fun lesson. We'd done a lot of hard work in the previous lessons (I think, it was almost 2 and a half years ago!), so we relaxed a little and had some fun in this one!

  • Awesome riding, and your lucky. Cuz that indooor arena, like most I've seen and the one I am at now, like it just looks like boards leaning up against something. That arena looks really....NEAT! ahahaha. :)

  • @trizan123 Haha, indeed, lots are pretty shabby xD. It was indeed a nice arena! But I personally prefer the older ones, like the once where I currently ride, they have more character :D

  • @Blueyluvscheese Oh I see haha. The one I currently ride at...eh, I kinda like it! Its good for shows. And the riding instructor doesn't have to be in the middle of the arena. Its actually kinda small but who cares. I have a lot of outoor ones too! Its really fun. I think I'm gonna go ride. So yeah byyyezz for nowz!

  • @Blueyluvscheese Oh I see. I like the one I'm curently at because its good for shows and the instructor doesn't have to be in the middle of the arena. Its kinda small but who cares? Theres a lot of outdoor ones too. Its really good for shows and I'm gonna be in one soon. :)

  • @trizan123 Ahh that's cool, and yeah same here, the one I'm at now isn't exactly the biggest, but that doesn't matter xD. Oh cool, have fun at your show!

  • @Blueyluvscheese Lol :) And thank you so muchhhh! :D

  • @trizan123 You're welcome! Let me know how it goes xD

  • @Blueyluvscheese Okay, I will!! :) I will PM you, k? Its a week from yesterday :)

  • May I use the fall part? Like can I use this video? I iwll give you credit and the link

  • @horselover4912 Hi, you'll have to ask my sister 'Dannythepony', because she's the person that falls. You'll be able to find the original clip on it's own without any editing on her channel :)

  • Really!? The only thing i like about it is that it strengthens your leg... our horses need a ton of leg!

  • @beowulf229 Yep! Well, lots of instructors here seem to enjoy killing you when you're doing no stirrups LOL! So when they mention it, everyone runs a mile xD. Ahh, same here. I mean there's quite a few that don't need lots of leg where I ride now, but most of them do need a lot of leg! Haha

  • i wish i could do more stirrup less lessons...i've done 1

  • @beowulf229 Oh that's a shame :(. Here in UK it's the opposite, it's a very regular thing so we end up wishing we didn't have to do it, lol!

  • Umm if you had trouble with the canter y didnt u hit him with the crop? Other than that it was really cool lesson!!!!!

  • @beowulf229 I probably did, I normally use it, this is only 5 mins out of a 60 minute lesson so not everything's been captured obviously xD. I might have been more focused on the no-stirrup work, I dunno, it's over 2 years ago, and my memory's not that good lol! Still, thanks, it was a cool lesson indeed!

  • whats his breed/

  • aww what a cute horse, whats his name?

  • @baizley06 He is cute indeed! His name's PJ, but I don't know what breeding he is though.

  • I personally hate trotting without my irons but i luv cantering and jumping with them. You have really nice balance, to get it, did you do no stirrup work a lot

  • @Ponypower171 Ahh I understand the trotting thing. For me I used to love all no-stirrup work, but at the moment I really don't like it unless it's on a certain horse. Thanks a lot, I wish I could balance like that now, I guess I'm just going through a bad patch at the moment xD. Well over here in the UK, a lot of Instructors regularly get you doing no stirrups, so yeah I guess it is because I've done it a lot!

  • where is the stables in the uk?

  • @WILLOWXXXX1 This one's in Leicestershire :)

  • This is awesome(: and REALLY helps your balance!

  • @judababe456 Thanks, and I completely agree! :)

  • awesome riding ! x

  • @ilovehorses36 Thanks! :D

  • i ride there i think that was pj

  • @SaddleClub4Eva indeed it was!

  • i HATE riding with no stirrups with a saddle it hurts my legs where the stirrups are meant to be lol but with no saddle its AWESOME lol

  • wowweeeee ur good!! i ride 2! and i rode today. i canter no stirrups, and getting to jumping no stirrups! I DON'T WANNA THO!!! lol is it hard????

  • @zerograv9 thanks! Hmm, jumps like these it's nice and easy, get's hard when you go bigger xD.

  • what state is your barn located in!? it looks super nicee,

  • @davidcooklover26 it's actually located in the UK!

  • @Blueyluvscheese just came back from england i rode solly in a lesson and in the vid is bombai or how ever you spell his name there ?

  • @horselover123x aww wicked, I know someone who loves Solly. Nope, that's Gin in the vid, not Bombay, they do look almost the same!

  • @Blueyluvscheese me i love solly lol aww my baby (gin and solly and AJ) give them a big kiss from me ? :)

  • cute ponies/horses!

  • @miltonluver4 thanks xD

  • omg ur lucky u didnt have to post without stirrups do u even have to post cuz we have to. anytime we trot without stirrups we HAVE to post sadly xD its so hard lol

  • @ilycharlie100 Ooer, poor you! Over here standard no stirrup trotting is to stay seated, but as an exercise we do post now and then. Also we sometimes do it when going down from canter to trot if the horse is bouncy.

  • really good i am just learning to do that :)

  • @horsesrmylife1014 thanks, and cool, have fun xD

  • Your horse is really cute!

  • @horsiegirl97 It's actually the riding schools pony, but thanks xD

  • @uuumwhatisgoingon riding school one? o.O it has the riding school logo each side of it XD im sure u dont have that ;)

  • how do you jump with no stirrups? just wondering? :) you did well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @zeebradaisy Hmm, hold on tight and hope for the best! Aha joking, it takes quite a bit of leg strength as you have to use your thighs to lift yourself up out the saddle. With the right horse or pony it's easier than you'd think! And thanks xD

  • awww my horses name is PJ. you should watch my vids

  • @uuumwhatisgoingon: haha cool xD.

  • thats really good!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @101awesomeperson, thanks! xD

  • how amazing is no stirrups ?

  • @ChloeLovesPonies, yeah no-stirrups is great! Thanks :)

  • @4evadressage: I don't have any new tips since I last gave you some, sorry! haha

  • haha np just keep up the great riding :D

  • @4evadressage: thanks! Will do xD

  • Ooh great viddy! Well ridden considering you were without stirrups! I love doing stirrup-less lessons, they're so good for your seat! Well done! xx

  • Thankyou! He he, I love no stirrups too, as long as the horse or pony isn't too hard xD

  • Your pony is gorgeous! Such a lovely colour!

This looks fun, but I dont think I coud do it cus mine is waaay too bouncy in trot :P

  • Thanks! Ha haa you're lucky, we're made to do no stirrups no matter what we're riding xD

  • @Blueyluvscheese

    *cough *rufus*cough* :D

  • such a cute pony. he canters like he has some spanish in him, like Paso or Adalusian. so funny to watch, but such a cutie! looks like ya'll were really having fun.

  • Yeah we had a great lesson, thanks! I haven't got a clue about his breeding, so yeah you could be right. He is really funny though, so wibbly wobbly, lmao!

  • @apachiedragon

pony has a sticky stifle :( thats why he looks funny

  • YOU ARE A GREAT RIDER

  • Thankyou! :'D

  • You're really good! I don't think I've ever said "fun" and "no-stirrup" in the same sentence, LOL.

  • Thankyou! And haha! I happen to be one of these weird people that likes doing no-stirrup work lmao!

  • Well done! I know personally how much leg strength you require to ride without stirrups in a trot/canter but then to balance over jumps too - Congrats

  • Thankyou very much!

  • you have a gr8 horse to jump so smoothly with u having no stirrups! gr8 lesson!!

  • Thanks! Yes it was a great lesson XD

  • i find it hard to keep my balance with no stirrups especially in trot and breaking from trot to canter can you email me with some adice! (: ty gr8 vid!!

  • Sure! I'll send you a pm :)

    And thanks! XD

  • ty!

  • ouch! that looks like that fall hurt!! i once was ridding a horse and i was on it and it slipped and fell on me!!!! luckily, i only came away with a tink scratch!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah I think it did hurt, she lay on the floor coughing saying my neck just clicked, it was quite funny as we were laughing after at how her legs flopped into the air! :-)

  • Im starting working with o sturipps at the trot and this really helped!! U have a great seat!! Do u have any tips for no sturipps work!!

  • Thankyou! No stirrup work is great fun, although it can be difficult! Umm tips...hmmm...oh yeah! Be sure to relax when doing it, because if you tense up, you start to bounce and the horse will get quicker, meaning you bounce more and then you end up on the floor! Also when doing sitting trot try to keep yor hips loose and move them with the movement of the horse, it really helps as I used to have (and still do at times) an awful seat. Good luck!

  • Thank u very much!! I wiill keep those tips in mind!!

  • No problem, thankyou for asking :-)

  • Im the proud mum of blueyluvscheese and Dannythepony , great kids great riders they take after their mum !!

  • Ooer.

  • Yes i did, i did indeed.

  • Mm hmm

  • yar har

  • wooo PJ!! he goes better in that saddle but it has a reli small seat haha

oh yer and not to mention the teeth marks in it haha

  • Teeth marks O.o

Interesting, very...interesting. I don't mind his saddle lol, it's not an uncomfortable one, but not really comfortable.

  • i find the seat to small for jumping lol]and yes teeth marks... have a look on tuesday haha

  • Hmmmm :S

    I shall lol =D

  • lol its funny

i luv PJ he is wicked lol

  • He he yeah he is XD

  • Looks like a good lesson ! xD

You finally got Pro 9 then, is it much more complex then movie studio ?

    xx

  • No it's surprisingly not =O

Just has more options in the settings and some more effects. My camera is dodgy with movie makers and pro don't like it as much as Movie Studio does, but it's great!

Thanks for the comment, it was a good lesson XD

  • No prob xD

You sound like you edit your video's different to me :P

Have you bought it or is this the trail version ?

  • Nope, this is the real version XD

What happens is the clips out my digi cam will suddenly stop working and when rendering some might not show up, but after 7 renders and major settings changes, it worked!

  • Oh right :P

I have to import my video's from the camra onto my computer then I just get them from the explorer or what ever and it render's straight away.

  • Yeah that's what I do (after editing of course lol).It just doesn't like my camera! It sometimes had rare problems in Movie Studio too and doesn't even work in WMM.

  • Is it MPEG 2 cause that ALWAYS

  • works for me.

  • It's .AVI clips. Stupid camera though, I had to install a codec to get the clips working on the computer, it'll most probably have something to do with that.

  • yes
