You can get the dough patty at any grocery store or pizza shop. Do yo have a Wal-Mart? They are also in the frozen section there. If you cannot find good pizza dough, let me know. You know here in UK, we have Asda, it is owned by Wal-Mart and is a smaller version of your store, but i don't beleive i have ever seen pizza dough on sale, they do sell pre-made bases for pizza but they are not nice
Been cooking for a long time and didn't ever make pizza from scratch like this. I always use the store pizza crust then put my filler on it. I will certaily have to try this.

i was in New York in May and tasted the famous NY pizza and it was gorgeous
